  • Oh my goodness too!!

I got a mention in a Gypsy poem!!!!! Now I feel like one of you, been practicing my g’days and fair dinkums, dashed outside to pull out the barbie, forgot I had no prawns, but got drenched anyway as it was peeing down, May in Scotland after all!

Dunno how it happened, now got a sparkly tush – bloody glitter gets everywhere, must be careful OH will think its his birthday and I’ve made an extra effort.

Thinking Quasimodo’s esmerelda meets hell’s angels theme for you Gypsy. Let me know, orders taken.

So woke up to find it’s Sunday, not FD. Goodoh weather has been lovely here, a bit breezy, but cooool. The day is shaping up with a mango/banana/coconut water smoothy, with a few mint leaves thrown in. All from my garden/scrub surrounds, including the coconut. Have a plan to strip the abode of refined pathogens/plastics and go organic/glass, but sunshine and sea air is the order of today. Off to join my biker club for a run around the beaches and lunch at a seaside fish and chip spot, where hundreds of seagulls squabble for crumbs . (with OH in the sidecar – and No, you can’t have a picture!)

Feckin’ ‘angelic’ lot? (laughing)Fit, ‘the wind beneath my wings’ is sooo flatuitous! Lotus, was inspired by the sound of your ‘signature dish’ prawns and the sauce sound perfect, best you develop the recipe, huh?

Moongal, Don’t be afraid of the scales, kid, take them firmly in hand and shove in the cupboard! A little time in the dark will show them whose boss. And it’s okay to take sadistic pleasure in seeing them depressed by loss!

Have a nice day everyone. FD tomorrow. Stay on track. Hmm, can one make organic Sav? What a pity I don’t have smoke weed….puff up and blow inspiration my way, dearies. Meanwhile, I’ll ferry OH past the pub so he can breathe in and smell the drip trays. I’m on it. xxx gyps

Bwaaah!haaa! haa! Milena, pet, you are definitely IN the loooop! Love the customized blueprint – can we throw in a little dragon, dearie? and here’s one just for you:

Oo! Milena, Malaena, we’re all in the poo
We’ll never get out unless you come through
Give us sparkles and spangles and fire up the flue
From Scotland to Ireland we’re Ozzie! True Blue.

Consider yourself adopted, ya loon! (check in with madam secretary for ‘yore a natural’ papers.. ) xx gyps

Happy Sunday team. I started out with a typo and it read Happy SINDAY. Hmm maybe that too. !
Fitto re your query re the chilli powder on the leash. I dissolved some chilli powder plus cayenne pepper in water. I then put it in a shallow dish and soaked the leash in it. Especially the section closest to his mouth. I then hung it on the clothes line to drip dry. It has worked a treat. He has a bite of the lead but quickly lets it go. Re you lab that pulls. Another dog lover friend of mine has just ordered a Canny Collar. It’s evidently designed for dogs that pull.
This weekend has been a bit of a pig out once again. We are going to head off for lunch at a local hotel soon. I’m sure not to choose anything low calorie.
FD again tomorrow. I’m going to make a batch of Miso soup for next weeks FD’s. My scales are iffy too. They are as old as the hills and only really measure in kilos and 500 gms. I don’t plan to buy any new ones though. This week I’m thinking of eating brekkie and then missing lunch and then eating again at dinner time. Thus a out a 10 hour gap or fast between meals. I’ll play it by ear and let you know how I go.
    XX Doggy

    Agree, Dawg, here’s to Sinday!

    Im so touched!

And ‘pet’ too. Brought up in Geordieland, ‘pet’ has such deep meaning!!!!

Dragons, can do – thinking cap on!!!!!

    xx

Hi team first chance to catch up, most of the family gone, roast lamb was delish last night as was the chocolate ripple cake, made by my grand daughter with Nanny as supervisor! We then became sloths in the family room in front of a movie…good family time. My son is staying till Tues which means lunch out tomorrow…so fasting for me will be squeezed in between Tuesday and Friday with our flexible 5:2. Like you doggy, still a lot of leftovers from last nights roast so Glenn and I will polish it off tonight πŸ™‚
Lovely to see the happy positive posts, very uplifting to us all and definitely Sinday! Weather is perfect so enjoy team, it’s unpredictable this time of year, the boys (son and grandson) did my calf shed out so plenty of yummy mulch for my garden and the shed is ready for my new calves after my op πŸ™‚ , sheep in front paddock now where they have shelter so all’s good on the farm. πŸ™‚ Enjoy your day out to those venturing and if not sit back and take time out for your self. …Happy day team xxxxx

I do so love the sound of your farm CG πŸ™‚
I like the sound of Sinday too. Ha ha πŸ˜‰

Thankyou Lotus, life is perfect at the moment and once this bleeden op is out of the way my list of “to do’s” will be tackled! I so need to downsize all my stored stuff, either from when the kids were young, or when I lost my parents, we just hang onto things through sentiment but they are just space takers! So unsure if I’m nesting (doubt I’m pregnant) but just ready for a damn good clear out, 5:2 started it with clothes, now I just want to keep going! Another snowball πŸ™‚ xxx

Interesting thoughts CG, I was thinking this a few weeks back too. That needing less in one area of life (food), seems to flow to feeling of “fullness” in others too. So fasting has interesting side bennies…

Well said Lotus, we use to fill our lives with subdifuse but no need now being satisfied in one area, ourselves, flows to other areas πŸ™‚ have a lovely evening xx

    Hi All!
Gypsy – so glad you see this little family here as your oasis and we will be whatever you want us to be – not soppy but caring and full of the same gripes, silliness, laughs, wit, wisdom and above all, determination. Xx
Lotus – love your prawn dish, sounds fab – absolutely love seafood of all types; when we go on holiday to France, we eat fish and seafood all the time.
Must plan my FDs better, so off to supermarket to make sure I have healthy choices in the larder for the week ahead. Best of luck to everyone for the week ahead.

Just realised I posted on the wrong page and missed all the posts on this page!
Doggy – ‘Sinday’ just started for me here! Thanks for advice re my four-legged friend, will look into it.
CG – sounds like you had brilliant time with your family and so glad they have been helping you out with the heavy work. Roll on op and here’s to pain-free days ahead.
Gypsy – enjoy day out with the belle and OH in tow…must be quite a sight! Have fun πŸ™‚

Enjoy your day to Fit whatever you do, including shopping πŸ™‚ mine just about over, very tired after family time, build up and excitement then after they go seem to fall in a heap. My Son and I are going out for the day as well as lunch so precious times still tomorrow xxxx

Thanks CG – just did a mountain of ironing, as well as the shopping – not very exciting. Going over to my sis with a present for her new aussie grandson, whom she is setting off to see next week; wish I could go with her! Hope you have a lovely day with your son and then have time to unwind and relax after all the excitement xx

Good morning team, Happy Fast day ,dead easy if you have planned. It does become habit and you know what you can have πŸ™‚ the benefits outweigh any excuses so get into it. Mid arvo seems to be the problem for a lot of us, so hard boiled egg, carrot straws, zero coke, a piece of fruit even a milky coffee, but remember to count the cals into your total. The later you can hold off eating the better or like some, an early brekky then drinks only till dinner meaning you are fasting from last nights dinner till brekky then from brekky to dinner then tonights dinner till tomorrows first meal πŸ™‚ Don’t confuse yourself, go the way you feel comfortable and confident with.
Lunch out for me today, chicken salad will be my choice…no chips πŸ™‚ then soup for dinner. Hard to count cals with dressings etc when eating out, just guess work, but it should be fine.
Have a great day team, be happy, don’t sweat the small stuff, remember the pride you feel tonight when you get into bed with another fast behind you (not a fat bum πŸ™‚ ) xxxx

Morning team! Thanks for the uplifting (and full of not-so-common-sense) post CG. Needed it this morning, I had to have a talk to my self this morning as self got jaded after a few months of 5:2ing. You know, “do you have to fast today? Its cold, I wanna eat lots of hot food…” etc etc). But better now, it passed. Do you long-timers come across the whingey self too? What do you do?
p.s.: I have two friends who have started 5:2, after they saw my “transformation” (their words LOL), so I can’t give up till reaching the goal, even if I want to!!

Don’t know about my whingey self, Lotus, and I can’t use the cold as an excuse since it’s been cold here for months and months – however I’ve had two bad days of overeating this weekend and I don’t really know why. Someone please give me a kick in the butt!!
Wow! So you’re inspiring others to take up the 5:2 baton…very impressive!! You should be on commission! πŸ˜‰

    Good Morning Gang
I am back from the Gold Coast. Loved every moment in Sunny Queensland. And this brown chicka has come back home browner with lots of tan….LOL

Yet to catch up on all the posts, however I did read that Gypsy is back and then realized that she is going through some tough turns. Gypsy, hugs to you and you are such a strong woman. As everyone else said, we are all here in tough times for you. We are the shoulder that you can rely on. Love, hugs and strength to you and your OH.

I will be catching up on posts later, however congrats to everyone for the losses last week. And lotus, your “transformation” has to be very inspiring for others to join 5:2 as well. Give a pat on your back as you are well and truly on the road to make a positive difference to others lives.

and I read something about the wonder witches here, you all are a beautiful bunch of witches. May I join someone on their broomstick or do I have to get my own. (If you offer your broomstick, it better be strong enough to carry me along)

Hubby posted some pics on FB (facebook) while we were on holidays. One of the pics of me in my swimming costume (I think I looked pretty good in that pic), one of my cousins commented as follows :- “Hi, I think you need to reduce honey” What an A****le, I was about to delete the comment as I was so so annoyed, then I realized that I do not want to be my old self again and such things have always shattered my confidence. My reply to his comment was “If I reduce so much weight, Angelina Jolie will be out of business” and obviously he did not have anything to reply to that.

People are such losers. I had the courage to get my picture posted on Facebook with a swimming costume. That is such a big change for me. I fit into a normal size 12 costume and yet all that people notice is extra weight here n there. I just want to say this out and loud “Shame on such people”

I don’t want this to sound like a rant, but just saying that we need to have confidence in ourselves. People try to shatter our confidence as they can’t keep up themselves. Regardless of what weight and shape we are, no one has the right to decide if we need to change or not. I used to get effected by such things and then turn to emotional eating and crushed self respect, Not anymore. Watch out World, I am stronger than before….(I hope)

    FB

Thanks Fit, but knowing how I suck at maintaining my pace at this, any commission will have to be refunded pretty soon πŸ™‚ I am actually looking at them for inspiration!
both my friends are about 10 years younger than me and having a host of medical issues due to weight gain, I am so hoping this, or any other WOL, suits them so they can become healthy quickly πŸ™ They are both young mothers with a busy life…

FB- Cheers my dear, for being so brave to post in a costume in the first place. I am sure you looked wonderful in it, and had a great time. Those times, and the support of the family is what matters. The rest – pfft!
Treat jealousy as the best form of flattery.
Usually, the people who make a negative comment are the usually the ones who need to change the same aspect they are criticizing in others. I have often wondered why people post negative stuff online, do they not know that there are real people behind the words/picture? That the real people who get hurt by negativity?

    You nailed it Lotus.
My cousin’s wife is fighting with obesity since forever. Not overly obese but she is has back issues due to her weight for at least 10 years now. Their daughter, who is 19 years old has same issues as well and she often gets bullied.

When I met their family 2 months back, they just kept on staring at me. While serving food, my cousin’s wife said “WE will always be FAT as it is in our genes”
When she said WE, she meant me and her….
Really……, did you just skip my 15 kgs loss…
Just a bunch of jealous people who do not want to acknowledge others for anything. Now this comment comes up when everyone else has been raving about my weight loss on face book. Phewww

I know that I still have weight to loose, but I am at a stage where I am confident about how I look in swimming costume. These people need to Get a life…

Well Done FB, size 12 is amazing in a bathing suit! People ARE so negative and they are the ones that have to deal with that. That WE bit too, how rude, jealous that they have not done it!

Where did you stay on the GC? Next time we must catch up. I do know what you look like…. HAHA

    XX

It has happened to me too FB, so I know exactly what it feels like πŸ™‚ .
For every ten people that compliment us, 2 will be jealous. Especially people who have still to travel towards their own goals. The feeling that, by changing (for the better) we are somehow leaving their camp. You know, they can no longer include us in conversations about plus size/overweight/being on the latest fad diet/these clothes won’t suit people like US etc., with a straight face, so what’s the next best alternative? Disparage the weight loss. So, in their minds, they still win. It gives them a moment of pleasure πŸ™‚
Keep calm and carry on fasting.

Hi all. FB people who make derogatory comments about others are either arrogant, stupid or both. I would just try and let it wash over you and hold onto the fact that you are a strong, capible ,intelligent and a kind human being. I give no time or thought to people in my life who’ve been mean to me. I had an awful mother in law who made my life miserable. Even after her death I used to harbour resentful thoughts about her. One day I just decided. Enough is enough. You are allowing a dead person to still have the power to make you angry. Ever since then I’ve felt so much better.
CG I love reading about your farm and animals. I’ve never lived on a farm but have farmer rellies. I love the lifestyle. Ive kept chooks and ducks in the past. Nothing like fresh eggs from ones own well contented chooks.
FD here too. I don’t really love them but always say the same refrain to myself. ” just for today”. I’m now 67 kilos. My aim is to reach 60 in the next 6-9 months. So just a bit each day and it’s part of the marathon we are all on.
Stay positive team and don’t allow negative people to upset you. They are the ones with the problem.
    XX Doggy

    Hello DiiP
I stayed at Broadbeach. Peppers Apartments at Broadbeach exactly…
That’s true, you know how I look like. definitely, next time you are here in Melbourne, just shout and we will catch up and when I am up at GC next time (I really hope soon…LOL) will let you know and we must catch up.
Didn’t know that you were up there. How lucky!!

Lotus, so true about jealous natures. Yes I am over that negativity and fasting today. Gosh, I need the courage to fast after some days of eating and drinking. But this is a detox and I WILL DO IT….

Doggy, so right about the negative people. I am sure that you would have felt so much better and stronger after deciding that you are not going to get negativity effect you any further.
I am strong and happy and I am not going to let such negativity effect me anymore. Thanks heaps.
I would have asked OH to take the picture off face book or delete the comments, but didn’t want to do that as that makes me a weaker person, who gets effected by negative comments… Nopes, not me anymore.

Thanks guys for supporting my thoughts and reassuring me that I was correct with my decisions and negativity just needs to be kicked in the a**…

    Love FB

    Hello everyone,

I did what someone suggested and made last Friday my fast day after dinner out with my OH on Thursday night. And it worked! Lost 800gms.

So today is a fast day and breakfast was a green smoothie of banana, lettuce greens, a little lemon pulp, coconut water and about 1/3 cup pineapple, and all shared with OH.

I think of all you women out there who say such nice things that I am inspired and motivated to keep
going. I think of the marshmallow test and think – how badly do I want this? I really, really want this
ladies – I can leave that lolly there on the table if it means I can buy a smaller bra eventually! It is not easy on a cold day. But I am giving it a go.

FB – may you be comforted when you are approached with unkindness. Big hugs!

    Love to everyone. xx

RE – love your post, mate!

Morning all had a wonderful, refreshing weekend away with OH clearing out the cobwebs of late. Of course I ate way too much..though actually when I think about it I also made some pretty good choices, missed brekky yesterday to compensate a bit. But the footy match was soooo cold and wet that as well as the planned pie I had a bucket of chips too! However gang today is a new day with new opportunities and a chance for me to show the food who’s BOSS around here!! So onto another FD and may even consider a 4:3 this week. I’m up 1.3kg but that should disappear pretty quickly. I’ll also diligently use MFP on the other week days & plan to stay well below my TDEE to help things along. It would be such a boost for me to see 71 something by Friday.
FB such jealous, negative people in this word. As Lotus said Pfft let it go. I bet that you rocked in your size 12 swimsuit girl!!! And it’s great to hear that you’re slowly getting back the confidence in your own body that we all need to have. Don’t let ANYBODY take that away from you now you hear!
RE so glad you switched your FD aaand you lost 800gr Woohoo for you!! That’s the beauty of our WOL switch it around to suit your life it’s flexible.
Doggy so glad you were able to let go of those resentful thoughts. So not worth it is it & sounds like you have a much healthier attitude now. Like your attitude re your weight loss too – very realistic and liveable. Less pressure!
Lotus such insight with your comments. You are so right that people see it as “leaving their camp” and all they can do is be mean & separate from you. So silly. Lotus as to the “whingey self” I suspect we do the same as you did….just ride it out and stick to our guns. It too will pass. I had a bit of it this morning like… I’d love to just continue having all that yummy comfort food like I did over the weekend, perhaps fast tomorrow instead. But to me that’s the beginning of the end. I’ve done it before with diets…I just slowly, oh so slowly become less keen and motivated and before you know where you are – hey presto, you’ve swapped back to all your old bad habits and foods, almost without even noticing! So….Monday is FD and that’s it & it may be a little harder but we’ll make it. And then we’ll feel damn good about ourselves and food. For me that is SO worth it. So hang in there. Fit too. Don’t worry about your 2 off days just get back to what you know, plan, prepare, persist and ride it out. Forgive yourself if you have to and move on baby!!
CG hope you enjoyed your lunch out with your son and the lovely family time you’ve had. So precious & so doable with our WOL.
Well that’s another diatribe I expect from me. Always been a wordy gal. Have a great FD all whether they’re easy hard or damn difficult they are still so worth it. suejen

PS Oh and to Milena (our honorary Scottish aussie who knows about barbies and prawns and such like) you are welcomed on board as a true dinkum aussie. Naturalisation papers in the mail girl! Madam Secretary.

Hi SueJen, “But to me that’s the beginning of the end. I’ve done it before with diets…I just slowly, oh so slowly become less keen and motivated and before you know where you are – hey presto, you’ve swapped back to all your old bad habits and foods, almost without even noticing!” – this is so true for me, and exactly what I am fighting! Glad to know its not just me πŸ™‚ Thank you for your kind words. It really helped.
Team: after all that whingeing this morn, I HAVE had a reasonable fast day so far, no calories till lunch and then having a (really yummy), warm chicken, baby spinach and feta salad, with beetroot dressing (all really much simpler than it sounds)- came up to 175 cals even with generous portions. BTW, Beetroot dressing – process together canned beetroot slices, salt, pepper, mustard with a small amount of water or oil if you like (I don’t like oily dressings).

Thanks SJ, Yes I do hear ya, with the help and support of all you wonderful people I am not going to tumble on the wrong side again! Thanks heaps. Yes, I do think that my swimsuit looked really sexy, I think it complimented my womanly curves really well πŸ˜‰
First time ever, I was not trying to hide myself under the sarong, I was just enjoying every bit of water n sunshine πŸ˜‰

And yes, so true about Lotus’s insights about people who are jealous. These are so true and perfect insights.
And Lotussssss, OMG, never heard about the beetroot dressing. Where do you get all these ideas from??? Very very creative. My next salad is going to be with this dressing, sounds really yummo. Thanks again!!!

May I call you Madam Chef of Aussie Determination? I am sure all others will agree with this. πŸ™‚

I am struggling a bit with my fast today (normal after some blowouts during holidays) but I am gettin there. I have mapped out my day and if all goes by the plan, should be able to finish at 430 cals. Well, I can only TRY…

And Yes SJ, good attitude not to worry about a temporary gain as it passes quickly with one or two fasts. We all know this, but I find it hard to keep the positive attitude as yours. More positive mind training required for FB…LOL

Also, wanted to share this lovely song with you all (Fight Song by Rachel Platten):

    https://youtu.be/LVxon65u3tA

Hi gang, FD and all’s going well here, done the lemon ginger tea infusion for brekkie Lunch is green salad and tin salmon with cherry tomatoes and this nifty dressing I’ve devised out of chai oil, white wine vinegar and organic herbal salts, not sure of the cal val, but assume it’s no more than bottled Italian dressing. Anyway, we can take some leeway when it all only come to 180 cals.

Milena, I probably picked up the ‘pet’ expression from OH, He’s half Scot (mum from Cambuslang, Lenarkshire) and half Irish (Dad’s line from Glasgow) and was born and raised, himself, in Gateshead (on Tyne). so He’s a Geordie (with a hell of a twist!)Would have to be the dearest, stubbornest breed in existence! An original red beret (paratrooper) and Should be dead already, from his antics. So we’ll hold the reaper up a bit longer, I reckon. Just have to manoeuvre his ‘won’t power’ into reverse a tad. Great that it’s planting season here for green veg. He’s a green thumb and already well aware that nurses are the LEAST likely to pander to the ‘invalid’ mentality prematurely! God helps those who help themselves, mate.

Speaking of which, FB, You really can dismiss critics of your present self as ‘sour grapes’, love. We’ve seen you, and you have what I term ‘eternal bone structure’ (a Mona Lisa quality of the face) you give forth some twinkling light that is, and will be, beautiful at any age or life weathering. You don’t have to worry about aging or fading as time steals the glow of youth. Phfffft! You’re still losing your puppy fat! And you’ll be coming into full bloom with the advantage of wisdom AND a great body! (Angelina Jolie is a good comparison tor your enduring quality! she used to be a puppy once, too). forgive your cousin. He already knows it (bet he’s starting to feel the abs pudging up).

Have a nice day girls. And Fit, Lotus, when it gets heavy to stay the course, it is only momentary distraction or boredom . Give it a jolt and break the pattern. You’ll come home. It’s the one place you know will get you back in shape! CG,RE, suejen, Dawg and the GG, and everyone, thanks for the just letting me laugh! …. um… still keen to know and organic wine recipes……I tried it with grapes once and ended up with foul vinegar! Hopefully yours, gyps.

Thanks FB, glad you like the sound of it, and happy to help with food ideas any day πŸ™‚ The dressing was from necessity ( mother of invention?) – that is all I had one day and I like tangy dressings on a fast day πŸ™‚ Also, I find having fewer ingredients easier to enter on the calorie counter!

Gypsy, when I went on a wine tour in Hunter Valley, I did come across vintners that sold organic wine (including the sav blanc). I Googled and got the following online vendor:
    http://www.organicwine.com.au/

Hi All, bit late posting today as I didn’t want to do a whingy one but with Lotus and Fit letting it all hang out, throwing my bit in. Nearly didn’t do the FD either. Got to thinking about how I resent being aware of calorie content of everything and just want to have what I want, when I want it !!! Then the niggling thought of the slog of past FDs made me suck it up and get on with it. Definitely a temptation to regress to childhood tantrum today. Must be something in the air, be it Australia or Ireland! πŸ™‚

FB am actually envious that you were able to go swimming and sunning! Your cousin sounds as if lashing out in envy in more ways than one too, aren’t you glad that FB entries fall of the bottom of the page sooner or later?
Gyps, you sound good today πŸ™‚ Was thinking about you SJ over the weekend, wondering how you were going at the footy. Can’t believe how cold it became with the wet.

Going to leave all you lovely people and get some soup. Wishing I had a tin of beetroot Lotus! YYxx

Great song Lotus! And thanks for the organic wine link, it has lots of info, Will investigate it. Had thought about making my own, but thinking it sounds pretty complicated. Might go into their clearance specials instead. Good one. I’m fine, Yummy, thanks. Grinning at the rest of you being a little rebellious to day.

Not to worry, just follow CG’s 3PD recipe ( placid, plodding positivity and determination) and Don’t sweat the small stuff!

Lotus, that beetroot dressing sounds yummo. Am going to make it this week. Thanks heaps for that.

I too tend to have trouble on a Monday lately, I don’t have a problem on a Thursday FD though. Too many goodies (or badies) on the weekend.

FB – so funny that you were in the water, now I live here I don’t swim between April and October, too cold brrr! Peppers is meant to be a great place to stay, did you go to the Mecca Bah underneath – delicious!

Believe me DiiP, it was so much warmer than Melbourne. Loved every bit. Peppers was really good, I am definitely going to stay there again next time (That’s free advertising for Peppers Broadbeach…LOL)
And no, did not go to Mecca Bah as we were not sure. We looked at it from outside and just kept on moving until we found places that were crowded enough to indicate that they were good. Damn I should have asked before…lol.. so, this is another reason to stay at Broadbeach next time… πŸ™‚ πŸ˜‰
There were so many places to go. We tried Onyx Tapas Bar, Espana tapas Bar (our favorite, went their twice), Bavarian bier Cafe, Alto Cucina and Bar and loved The Cardamom Pod (veggo restaurant)
So, you can tell that fasting was completely out of the window and I ate n drank at all these places like crazy….

Gypsy, love ya for calling it puppy fat. I really wish it was just puppy fat. LOL
You make me feel so young, thanks for that.
YY, thanks and you are very right that FB entry has already fallen at the bottom of the page as OH bombarded his profile with pictures. (with manymore of me in the same swimsuit :-), u see we don’t care…LOL) πŸ˜‰

Thanks DiiP – warning – the dressing is pretty deep pink/purple in color πŸ™‚ My OH ran away screaming at the color LOL. Also, adjust seasoning and add oil if you want.

    Hi guys!
What a talkative lot you are! I haven’t been on all weekend and there are 2 pages to read through! Fatbuster it was good to hear that you didn’t let people knock your confidence, size 12 is nothing! The main thing is that you felt confident enough to put the swinsuit on!
At weigh in on Friday I had lost 1lb so I was happy with that but had a big weekend of eating and drinking in the sun :/ back on FD today so fingers crossed for weigh in at the end of the week.
I can’t remember who mentioned it but I saw in a post about coke zero… I find this helps me lots! Even on non FD. I know fizzy drinks aren’t great for you but if I’m feeling hungry and craving chocolate a coke zero normally satisfys me.
Hope your fast days are all going as planned!

Hi team, CBV it was me saying about Zero coke, made a bit of an uproar last time I mentioned it but I find it works, fills the hole, no cals and quenches the thirst. I’m not saying live on it but do as you wish, it’s helped me through some tough fast days.
Overeaten today…my Son’s fault, morning latte was served with a sausage roll grrr, thought that counts right?
Lunch battered fish with just salad, now a request for chicken kiev…so will me fasting all this coming week I think πŸ™‚ but he is worth it, I love having him “home” he leaves tomorrow so things back to normal.
I’ll try to catch up on all posts tonight but if I lag behind, forgive me, and besides, you lot do quite well without me πŸ™‚ (supervising I mean πŸ™‚ ) xxxxx

Don’t get too comfortable out there CG, we lot still need you to supervise and inspire us ! πŸ™‚
We let you off the hook for the moment tho πŸ˜‰

Thank you Lotus, now I’m really feelin’ the love πŸ™‚ xxx

CG – enjoy the food and beautiful company, as you always say’it is a wol and we can jump back on’ πŸ™‚

That’s why I’m not too worried Taco, the chores he has done has been wonderful, even down to changing batteries in my smoke alarms, I need a ladder and have trouble getting up but he is over 6′ tall so just replaces them no worries πŸ™‚ another reason I missed him when he left home…reaching into my top cupboards πŸ™‚ oh well taking advantage of him and repaying with food, like all Son’s, loves his Mum’s cooking πŸ™‚ xxxx

Hi FB just reading back, you poor girl, don’t ever let anyone bring you down to their level, especially by letting them know they have effected you. Negative people are too busy shooting down other peoples blessings instead of counting their own. You look great, feel fabulous and your OH tells you how wonderful you look, imagine his pride posting your photos, not many men would do that. By the way I wore that beautiful bracelet you gave me today, so thinking of you today as well πŸ™‚ …with happy thoughts.
You are the most important person you know, you are the only person you need to please, head up my love and shrug off the dirt and dust and move on πŸ™‚ you have so much to be proud of so never forget that xxxxx

Fatbuster, size 12 is fantastic! Congratulations, people are mean and jealous. I am so glad you are strong! Don’t let the bullies win. It does make you angry , it’s a normal reaction. My dad’s skinny wife is always saying mean things like that to me. These mean people exist in most families. Ignore them, they are jealous of you, you are a very pretty girl and you look fantastic!

Team it’s hard to understand why there is so much nastiness around the world, Doggy too, we all seemed to have copped it in the past, one way or another. If a lesson is learnt in humility, and being nice to others YOU are the better person for it, so just smile team, it is in past for most of us, memories do last, especially hurtful ones, I know, but lets try to move on, I admit I have wiped all those people out of my life now, unless they bring love, friendship or positives into my life, they don’t belong πŸ™‚ why let them take up space or emotions, screw it up, throw it in the bin and move on..YOU CAN DO IT πŸ™‚ xxxxx
