Day 13, NFD, Aus
I completely missed yesterday!
Great to see you back @flourbaby. I’ve done lots of removals over my life and find the best approach is to unpack everything immediately, otherwise the temptation (well, my temptation anyway) is to have unpacked boxes lying around for months and months. Good luck with whatever strategy works for you.
have a great weekend everyone!
Neil, congrats on your weight loss.
Suzy and Quacka, I have had a couple of FD’s in the last couple of weeks that were hard. But like thin said, the hunger does come and go in waves. Sometimes it’s just in the evening that I have a harder time. But I always get through it by remembering that I can eat the next day.
Not a lot of time to write now, but just wanted to check in. My weight has been bouncing around in the mid 66’s to the mid 65’s. Sometimes it’s hard to figure out exactly why. I think a lot of times it has to do with the amount of salt intake. Oh well I will try to get back and write some work tonight. Take care everyone. Hope you are all doing well.
Hi Guys
Doing ok on the Diabetes Prevention Plan. A combination of fasting until lunch time most days, and low carb meals has resulted in a welcome weight loss, 12 pounds since early July. I no longer have clothes in the wardrobe that are too tight. Trousers I haven’t worn in a very long time are actually a little big now. I never imagined I would ever fit into them again and on numerous occasions have almost put them in the charity bag. However I will wear them with smugness now!!
Hope things are going well for everyone, check in when you can.
I’ve gone on the Cider Denise is on a drink called Tropicana Very alcoholic and fruity. She’s had 3 up to now so that’s a lot for her. We are in the hotel so not far too stagger. Just up to the lift. Got a kettle so will be having a cuppa when we eventually go up to our room.

It is the last day here on Majorca and after doing 2 FD days I really let myself down today, apple cake and ice cream…..
Oh forgot the wine ooopps.
Anyway back
To Germany tomorrow and 2 FD days before going to our daughters wedding next weekend in Rome. My aim was 67kg but I don’t think I will make it. It would be nice to be 67.something. Will see next week.
Keep going
Day 12 UK FD
Yesterday became a NFD bc it needed to. I had gnocchi and toasted some of my homemade bread – my first solid carbs in 10 days – and lo! This morning my carbtastic stomach had SHRUNK! Looking forward to my weekly weigh day tomorrow after my first full week back on the waggon…
Today’s FD has been harder than previously bc yesterday’s carbs and not enough protein – I’ll have to get better at planning day before fast day (DBFD!). I’ve also not drunk enough bc I forgot to put a glass/bottle in front of me … out of sight, out of mind. I’ve had two scrambled eggs and a teeny tiny apple: supper is last week’s sweetpotato/spinach/pea dahl with some quorn pieces for extra texture, chewed very slowly. I’ve got a trustees meeting on zoom tonight and will be sipping peppermint tea/knitting to keep the weary munchies at bay
@flourbaby wonderful to be on the waggon with you again! Congrats on your new house – may it be a wonderful new home. I came back here weighing almost 20lbs more than the first time round… after 10 days I’m slowly deflating
@stitchincarol best of luck with all the family preparation and mourning time
@jaifaim travelling mercies – and happy holidays!
@funshipfreddie well done resisting doughnuts!! that’s epic! Thank you for putting me on the pocket list – it’s strengthened my resolve
Here’s strength to today’s fasters – and to our companions in their travels and busynesses. So many old friends not here now. Can anyone update me on @daffodil2010?

Envy you the heat Dave! Hope you find a cuppa somewhere, go easy on the lager 😂
Hemmy- very cold here too first thing, has been sunny then heavy showers, more like April!
Having home made veggie scotch egg & salad tonight, hubby didn’t want a meat one … Will be having soup soon if it stays cold! We went into town, ordered a Karen Rose book, one of my favourite authors. I usually buy 2nd hand, but still haven’t spent all my vouchers I got for my birthday in January! Found some garden ones too, I must go somewhere for a look, the smaller garden centre we use regularly doesn’t take them …
Have a good evening everyone!
Good afternoon everyone. Xxxx
Brr its a cold one here today. sunny this morning at 15 deg ..then rain again this afternoon.. Down to 2 deg tonight.
A late lunch because it was a long walk with MaryAnn .. so not much motivation this afternoon..lol
Not sure what to eat this evening ..as eating later .. maybe boiled eggs or omelette.
Dave.. Hope you are having a lovely time.
HH .. Glad your legs are feeling better .. we need our legs and feet in good order for all the walking. lol
Nana… is it on your bike day today.
Enjoy your afternoon everyone doing things that make you happy. Xxxx
Still not found one, and it’s getting hotter, 32°C today so plenty of lager needed to cool me down, not found anywhere that sells draft cider so I’ll stick to lager.

Happy new home @flourbaby! 🎉 💕⭐️ Great to see your post. Enjoy settling in now… how very exciting!

Weigh-in: 232 lbs. I’m trying to get in a walk at work every day it isn’t horrible weather outside. That won’t be today, but there’ll be lots of walking in the building due to a renovation preview project.
Day 12 Wales 🏴 FD
DH and I enjoyed a lovely walk yesterday, longer than usual for which I’m thankful because it’s raining today so my only exercise is likely to be a bit of housework.
@flourbaby good to hear that you and Bo-Bo are getting settled in your new home 🏡
Feeling hungry so will have a couple of boiled eggs for brunch and a cold beef salad is on the menu for dinner. I must remember to drink more water to quell the hunger.

Day 12 – South Africa 🇿🇦 – FD
Wow? So quiet here. Everyone busy exercising & concentrating on not eating, I’m sure 😅
Would you believe it – someone brought doughnuts to line-dancing yesterday?! An overseas visitor who’s been visiting one of our line-dancers for the last couple of months, & so has been joining in the dancing. She said she brought the doughnuts because it was her last session with us, as she’s going home at the weekend. I didn’t eat any though, I just said it would spoil my appetite for lunch. Someone said, a little cattily, (or maybe enviously) ‘oh yeah, you need to watch your figure’, but I don’t care. I’m trying to do low-carb & I’m pretty sure doughnuts aren’t on the list 😂
@flourbaby – just saw your post, just in time to put you on the list. I’m so glad your move went well & that you & Bo-Bo are doing okay. Is he micro-chipped? It’s a good idea to get it done if he’s not. It doesn’t hurt them at all, they place the chip under the loose skin near their neck. I’m glad you’re going booze-free too; you won’t regret it. I’m just coming up to my 2nd AF anniversary 🚫🍷

I made it!!! I’m finally here after a manic 1 1/2 weeks!! The move went well despite the removal men not being as careful with my ‘stuff’ as I would be………… who would have thought that?😂 The house remains in turmoil, with boxes & bags everywhere, but I’m doing it little by little and taking time to get Bo-Bo settled, he’s doing well😻, just eager to go outside which I’ll try this weekend with a ‘small dog’ leash, just until he knows where HOME is.🙏🏼
I have only managed a quick skim of posts, welcome back @michelinme, I too threw myself off the wagon (there was no gentle drifting away here @penz!) and this time around I started in a worse position than on the 1st go around!😩😩
Welcome to the challenge @davinac, you’re doing great!!!
I’ll try to catch up with everyones news this weekend, but from now on I’m fully committed to daily posting, 2L water/day, Booze free and a minimum of 2x 500cal FDs per week!
Onward & downwards folks!!

Morning all
Sorry you had a tough fast Suzy and Quacka, some are definitely tougher than others. I agree with thin, try some water/tea/coffee first to see if you were just thirsty rather than hungry, then a small protein rich snack to see if that helps.
One thing I’ve noticed in the last few weeks after eating a boiled egg or two, or a handful of roasted chickpeas when I get back home from work, is when I eat my dinner half an hour to an hour later or so, that I feel full halfway through it, and often don’t finish it.
My first big test is coming up this weekend, when we have a big family lunch on Saturday for all the September birthdays (there are 5 of them in our family). There’s always lots of snacks, lots of lunch, and lots of dessert. I’m going to have to work hard to keep to sensible portions.
Have a good one everyone
SuzyQ, sorry you had a tough fast day. You too Quacka. I remember being hungry on fast days sometimes. It’s not a nice feeling but you get used to it. The things that helped me through were knowing that hunger comes and goes in waves and can easily be distracted by things other than food; sometimes we can confuse hunger with thirst; remembering that, if I felt hungry, it meant I was doing something good for my body.
Sometimes I have harder FDs if I overindulge or eat the wrong things the day before. I try to arrange my FD intake so that there’s always something left in the calorie bank for later in the day because going to bed feeling hungry is just the worst. This could be a boiled egg or half a banana or a tbs of cottage cheese.
In time, it will get easier with the more fasts you do. Keep busy. Try to go as long as possible before having anything to eat on a FD because knowing that you have some calories left can help keep you going. I used to hold out until 2pm but now I have nothing except tea or coffee until 5pm. Nothing will happen if you’re hungry. You’re just hungry! Don’t give up.
Thinking of buying one here, can’t be doing without a cuppa.unless I have to drink dirty beer🤪😁
Afternoon!
Dave- did Denise not pack a travel kettle & tea bags?! I couldn’t do without my tea first thing…hope you have a lovely time & enjoy the good weather!
Jean- safe journey, hope you’re not too tired…
Hemmy- our weather today has been the same as yours, I did get the washing in before it rained though. Glad the cottage pie was good.
Nana- is it your usual St Ives lunch out today? How are you getting on with your bike now it’s power assisted?
Had a longer walk with Xena this morning, legs were feeling good! Did the shopping, then have played about with silly jobs this afternoon – emptied the grounds out of my old coffee pods & sprinkled that over some of my plants, washed some indoor bunting, have bought some artificial plants for a dark corner of the kitchen so cleaned the shelves for that…
Missed lunch again today, didn’t need it.
Have a good evening 😍
Good afternoon everyone I hope you are having a lovely day. Xxxx
This morning was beautiful lots of sunshine .. until about an hour ago and it absolutely poured in torrents ..I had a nearly dry line full of washing out..all soaked now. Its strange weather this summer..
Dave… Glad you arrived safely.. enjoy yourselves.
Sym.. Hope you had a good flight .. lovely to see your family. Xx
Nana .. how is your day going.
H H .. Cottage pie was tasty some more for dinner today. .. It s been funny weather this year for the garden crops and flowers. Hopefully not a bad winter .. chilly here today at 13 degrees.
Enjoy the rest of the afternoon everyone..hopefully a dry one for you.

Days 10 & 11 Wales 🏴 NFD
Nothing much to report, stretching my discipline muscle, eating healthily and keeping to my daily exercise plan…..working towards a loss this month 🤞
Happy hump day everyone 🤗
Day 11 – Rural Nebraska, USA – haven’t decided
I’m down to 160.4 this morning after yesterday’s successful–but barely–WFD. I wasn’t all that hungry, but my emotions were BEGGING for food, and I nearly succumbed many times. Proves the truth of the weight of discipline v. regret…
So what do I do today? There are no FDs possible while the kids are all home, so this is my only chance…but is that pushing my body too hard? Oh!
I just realized it’s not my body that’s worried, it’s my emotions, LOL. Okay, I’ll plan on a WF, but give myself grace to have a sandwich and some of the veggies I’m taking at the visitation tonight.
There’s a ton to do today (e.g. putting 16 cross necklaces onto a form board to display with with the photos, LOL…we none of us realized she had so MANY cross necklaces even though she wore one every single day) and DH is planning to stay home with me as much as he’s able to help accomplish it all.
So, I’m off. I think the appropriate quote for me today is:
You’re much too smart to be the only thing standing in your way.
Have a grand one, everyone!
Oh, and congratulations, @northgeorgia, on your MegaMillions win!
Day 11 UK CD
Yesterday’s possible b2b wasn’t – I was simply too tired and hungry on my 3rd consecuitve trip into town around broken lifts and engineering works! But an intentional NFD of healthy food, swerving chocolate and biscuits at the meeting in favour of soup and fruit, and finishing with some skinny toast – homemade oat/pumpkinseed/linseed/apricot/cardamon bread that I made for the weekend’s community party.
Today I’m delighted to be at home with a couple of zoom meetings and a pile of email. I’ve already enjoyed a light late lunch bowl of carrot/avocado/tomato/apple/plum, and looking forward to an early supper of pan fried courgettes, young broccoli, spinach and mushrooms with a vegan cream cheese sauce. I’ve had gnocchi sitting in the fridge asking to be eaten up for the past 10 days – the last of my pre-waggon carbs – but have finally decided to freeze it and major in vegetables. I was tempted to eat it tonight but decided against while writing this – Go Me!
My scales are yoyo-ing wildly atm, possibly a symptom of their age rather than my weight – I think they are about 40? I’ll keep weighing on a daily basis to keep myself honest, but track my weekly Friday weighday.
Sending strength to today’s fasters!
Hi, I’m a Brit living in Germany and Majorca. 69 years old. Just finished 2 FD Monday and Wednesday. Doing 2 more next week as our daughter gets married in Rome the following weekend and I want to look acceptable with a flat Tum for the event…I started out 6 weeks ago at 73kg and now 68,4kg so that is a result. Eating out last night in Majorca was fine found good things to eat, although it was hard not to have a glass of wine. But tonight… onwards and downwards. Keep going everyone, feel positive. Have a great September
I’ll miss having a cuppa, can’t make one in our room😩 Chloe was in shock when I took her out at 3am.Hotel is nice were on the 7th floor.
Hello all ! Hope you are all well ?
This is a bit of a bumpy journey this fasting thing. So many varying experiences from all of you and I suppose, that is life and as long as we are doing our best , that is all that matters and yes Quaka. We can do this! Congrats to those that have lost. Those that didnt, dont worry . Tomorrow is another day.
Yesterday was my fast day and one of my hardest since I started. I dont know what was wrong but I was hungry and hangry all day and I didn’t feel like drinking anything that I usually do like my herbal teas or sparking water with lemon – so of course that led to a massive headache because I was probably dehydrated. A few times during the day, I considered calling it quits and doing a FD on another day, but I perservered. We had prego steak and salad for dinner and I still felt hungry afterwards but the hangry had gone :). At 9pm I broke down and had another little piece of steak but really I should have just brushed my teeth and gone to sleep. Bit disappointed in myself but hey … we will try again tomorrow – FD 2 for the week.
I wonder if hormones played a roll in my stressful FD yesterday ? Thoughts anyone ?
Day 11 – USA/GA – FD
Weigh-in: 235 lbs. I admit that I overate on my OMAD, tsk tsk. Anyway, I won $4 on the Mega Millions lottery last night (ok, I probably spent $8 on tickets over the past three weeks, lol!)… so maybe it will be a lucky day for me all around 🙂

Hi everyone, me again
I had a tough FD today. Was feeling so tired all day and had no energy. Really felt just like giving up!
I caved in and had a can of tuna, some beef jerky and my 20 cal soup. I was feeling a bit down, thinking I had blown my FD but then I started to turn my attitude around and told myself that I can still make this work…..I can have a lower calorie dinner and still have a successful FD.
So tonight I made a yummy chicken and veggie miso soup (from scratch this time!) and managed to stick to 600 cals. 500 is my preferred limit but I’m happy with the 600 for today.
Don’t give up! We can do this!

Hello everyone,
Woot! Neil https://media.tenor.com/ld5b1obZaHMAAAAM/hooray-hip.gif
I especially like that tip for movie night snacks, I hope it keeps working. There is a particular pleasure in having a little bit of what you love, drawing out the enjoyment, and feeling really good afterwards.
Cali, so glad you managed to post. Haha and oh dear forgetting fast day. It maybe a sign of how much stress you are under. Naughty scales. Are your clothes starting to get looser?
I’ve seen the news of more terrible fires in your state, such a worry.
Thin, I do understand what you say about personal choice, but I wish we could make it easy for everyone to eat well. Not only would people feel so much better, but think of the health dollars it would save!
I do hope you can get to do some dancing. Maybe with the old songs playing loud, and really rocking that boat! You too, Neil 🙂
Ooh fog on the water sounds so beautiful and a bit worrying at the same time. Especially with tree trunks to dodge.
Anzac, that is such crazy weather. I worry for the summer. Best wishes for power and determination to get 5:2 working, for your health as much as for your holiday.
Sympathy that you can’t drink tea (but coffee is better 😉 )
Yum for that classic meal of deliciousness: roast lamb and veggies.
Quacka, how awful to have that tick bite and what a lot of recovery. Sending best wishes.
Gday you drink coffee like a Melbournian. All the cafes here close at 2pm because everyone has finished their coffee for the day. Is it like that in Adelaide too?
Snake season is starting early, I am glad yours was a lizard. I love lizards in the garden!
LJoyce, you are a good strategist. Sending good wishes. Yay to housework dancing!
I’m going pretty well. I am noticing that I can feel more satisfied after a smaller meal, if I can just be patient enough to wait for it, than after a bigger meal. Am focusing on that and keeping on noticing if that is the case. It will make for a good mantra.
Best wishes to everyone
Welcome back to 5:2 Zippy and all power to you.
You will feel lovely if you can lose a bit of excess weight.
I love how 5:2 can be easy and sustainable.
Going by how your clothes fit is such a good way to go.
Best of luck.
Hi Zippy, Wishing you all the best. I have been yo-young between here and away for years! Good luck to both of us this time – no, not luck, just keep going! 🖐🏻🖖🏻👍🏻
Ljoyce yes I can see how my post was a bit confusing. The 1 kg weight loss was total weight lost for the previous 7 days only. I was a week late taking my fortnightly body measurements so the cms lost was total cms lost over a 3 week period, not 2 weeks. Over the 3 week period relating to the cms lost my total weight loss for those 3 weeks was just under 4kg.
Good Morning everyone
Hi G’day. The tick bite is slowly healing. The big red ring around it has almost gone and the hard lump where he went in has gotten smaller. I’ve been taking antihistamines at night but I have been waking up so tired, struggling to open my eyes. The antihistamines do make me drowsy but I’m surprised it lasts until the next morning. I’m thankful they are working though.
Thin, I also associate them with Lyme disease. I have had a few over my life time so far and have had no adverse effects that I know of apart from the skin issues. I have also heard that some people cannot eat red meat after getting a tick. Lucky that hasn’t happened to me, I love a good steak lol
G’day, funny about the baby lizard 🙂
We were down the coast camping on the weekend and I saw a black snake crossing the road in the scrub next to the beach. We were in the car and I pointed it out to OH so he didn’t accidentally run it over (we are dead against those people who deliberately run over the poor animals!). Then I wound my window up. OH started chuckling at me because I did that ha ha ha. He was like “you know we are in a car right?” and I’m like “yeah, but I’ve heard they can climb up cars”. Never mind that we were in a ute too which is much higher off the ground than a normal car!
A few years ago we were out fishing in the river and we had a black snake climb up the boat motor and he ended up on the side wall of the boat. Unbelievable but true!
Neil, LJ, Thin well done on the weight loss for the week 🙂
I’m on a FD today, my second and last for the week. I’m really tired today so I hope I can get through it without too much difficulty. Monday FD went really well so let’s make this one the same!
Happy Day all xxxx
Evening!
Dave- hardly worth going to bed for you! Glad I’m not the only one with a rubbish runner bean crop, the dwarf ones did okay in the end. Hope you have a great holiday, Chloe will miss you! 😎
Jean- hope you have lovely time with your family too…safe journey 🍸
Hemmy- I make cottage pie for hubby, I do a big lot & freeze it, it is a faff. He only has carrots in his, no other veg…at least you haven’t got to water today!
Nana- hope you’ve had a good day…
Rang my HomeStart family today, had a cuppa & a catch up with my sister, the lovely Paddy is such a pickle, wanting lots of attention! He’s 18 months now, so a teenager…
Hubby had tuna & cheese baguette & salad for dinner, I made an extra one for Mum. I had a keto version- mozzarella slices, tuna in the middle & fold the cheese over, then melt it, really yummy. I weirdly fancied spinach with it though, so had a big helping of that as well 😂
OH YEAH!!
Weigh in this morning I dropped 1.2 kilos. I finally got a reading on the scale that reflected how my week went. So now that’s 7 consecutive weeks of losses for a total of 4.4 kilos. I had a look back and this is the lightest I’ve been since 2nd of February.
Thin, I only drink once a week, I have 2 drinks on Friday night to unwind from the week. But I always make sure I measure it out with a jigger, so I always get the same amount. I’m pretty sure if I didn’t, I would be making them a lot stronger on weeks I’d had a more stressful time.
Well, I hope everyone is doing well, have a great one everyone.
I’ll be going to bed in three hours🤪🤪🤪.I won’t sleep, might get a couple of hours if I’m lucky.I wonder what Chloe will do.

Great work @stitchincarol I’m trying to get rid of some of my “treasures” I’ve found I’ve got to be in a determined mood or else I get distracted looking at old photos , reminiscing and not actually getting rid of much 📚
I too have been pleasantly surprised in my changing relationship with food @michelinme I’m definitely having more vegetables, less carbs and sugar and I know this is how I need to be eating going forward not just a quick fix , one of the easiest changes has been rejoining the zbc – I’d got onto very bad habits 🥐

A dull day here with rain forecast within the hour.
Ohh just finished making cottage pie.. I do 3 layers in clear dish .. Peas and long stemmed broccoli at the bottom then the mince.. topped with potato .so dinner in one dish . A lot of messing though and half way through I thought . Oh just buy.one. lolol
Anyway .. cottage pie this evening.
Just had a mail from Pam..they should be flying back from Kefalonia Greece today..but are delayed with high winds. .. vouchers for food .. but just want to get home now been up since early hours.
Dave.. Yes.. I am drinking 2 large wine glasses of cider every night. Just supermarket brand 4 % alco. You sound all ready for the off.
H H I am on watering duty and was told to have any runner beans.. but TBH i am finding them tasteless this year. What is on your menu today.
Nanna .. hope your day is going well… is it a visiting day.
Sym.. Sounds like you are all ready for the off.. Years ago food on the plane was lovely..that and just being in the airport felt like the holiday had started. I expect everything is so costly now for the airlines.
.Its dark here and just started raining so no watering will be need in neighbours garden. today.
Enjoy your afternoon everyone Smile it suits you. Xxxx
Hello everyone . I have done the diet three times in the last ten years but am finding that when I do it nowadays, I can’t sleep because I am so hungry. This makes it really hard at work the next day. has anyone come across an appetite suppressant that works ?
Day 10 UK FD
This morning my face is looking a little tweaked – hopefully turning the corner from puffy double-chin to essential me! I didn’t weigh until late morning but there’s a hint of v good loss there which is enough to motivate me for a b2b. I set my goal for the month to be easily reachable given how much easier it is at the start, allowing myself time to clamber back on the waggon, but I think I might reach it sooner.
I have papers to read for tonight’s meeting and a lot of emails to reply to/write, then I’m either leaving early and getting a lift part way or an extra hour at home but longer journey around engineering works. Either way there’s more than enough to keep me busy, and I can keep myself hydreated and enjoy the extra focus.
I really appreciate how this WOL has already reset my relationship with food. The fact it’s been so easy to resist sticky cakes and pastries, chocolate bars, sandwiches, gourmet savouries and wine has been wonderful after a long period of mindless, functional or emotional eating. Carrying an apple, a flapjack and some dried mango in my bag really helps me to resist grazing, and knowing there’s food in the fridge ready for me helps me to resist picking up less healthy ‘quick’ food.
Onwards! Wishing strength to today’s fasters

Weight has stagnated, but I identify mindless snacking over the past few days as the culprit. I am taking inspiration and determination from all of you fellow fasters! I am about 8 pounds from my goal, so would like to drop 2 # in the rest of this month. Surely do-able with proper focus!
@stichincarol, I get a ridiculous amount of satisfaction cleaning and organizing things, particularly the long-neglected areas of the house and property. So I am vicariously enjoying your cleared out basement!

Although my ten years of IF has been a life changer for me, I still often feel that I have failed in that I can so easily drop 900g on a FD yet, after all this time, I continue to gain 100g (or worse) on a NFD. Why can’t I just take in the daily fuel I need and stop there? (Note to all: please don’t suggest calorie counting!).
My OH has not gained one ounce since high school. He is highly food motivated and I can get him to do anything where food is involved. He never stops eating and thinking about food. While eating breakfast this morning, he was asking if I could roast some cashews for a snack tonight! He describes his metabolism as ‘highly inefficient’. Overweight people tend to consider slim people as having an ‘efficient’ metabolism. But the reverse is true. Consider the analogy of putting fuel in your car. The more fuel required to deliver a desired performance makes it inefficient, not efficient. Same for the human body.
LJ, so pleased that you were able to view that 1SE video. The hitch-hiking concerned us greatly but is quite normal in certain S. American countries. My long-term uni friend (and co-hitch-hiker in Africa) is amused that the risk-taker now has a risk-taker daughter. She (DD) is currently in Budapest where she flew for £4.50 last evening.
GDSA, glad to have found a fellow cynic! I love lizards, terrified of snakes. Our two bobtail lizards, Rocky and Psycho, that we had in Perth have been together for nearly twenty years now. Twins born each year. Husbandry passed down through vet students in our absence but we still keep close tabs on them and they’re now producing triplets each year. A happy couple.
Quacka, very concerned about that tick. I associate them with Lyme disease although I understand the link is not recognised by the medical profession in Australia.
Neil, good idea to weigh/measure out the snack foods. I wouldn’t be able to stop if I started. I notice our gin bottle has been going down at an alarming rate. I’d never have more than 1 drink but we seem to be doing it a bit too often. Oh well, 800g off after Sunday’s fast so it seems my job is to steadily re-gain that until next Sunday rolls around.
Neil, you are funny. That link! And you must know by now that I don’t care what other people think of me!
Anzac, remind us where you’re going in Europe please. Regarding the dancing, no, nothing formal other than I think OH and I took some salsa lessons many years back. I was thinking more of decades of wild dancing to rock bands and sixties music. I have a friend who turned 90 this week and she does line dancing – no partner needed for that.
