  • Hi All –

I was wondering if anyone had heard if the 15:2 or 16:8 or 1 meal a day is better for a diabetic Type 2 – on meds only (no insulin).

    Cheers

In my opinion, and thats all it is, you would be best to choose whichever one you can make work for you and that you will be able to work with long term. All are successfull as long as you can follow the plan.! Not so easy to do.

In type 1 diabetes, your pancreas stops producing insulin. Insulin is a hormone that helps regulate glucose, or sugar, in your blood. Type 2 diabetes starts with insulin resistance. Your pancreas no longer produces enough insulin or doesn’t use it efficiently. Know more about diabetes on: http://parijatak.com/panchakarma-treatment-kerala-center/

@msmojo – If you are on medication you should work with a doctor on fasting. Fasts can impact blood glucose. I typically see a good dip in my blood glucose around 20 hours into a fast. However if you are on some medication that kind of change might be dangerous. You might want to checkout https://idmprogram.com/. They specialize in fasting and type 2 diabetes reversal.

I would like to suggest ayurvedic treatment fo diabetes. It is well known treatment for diabetes.

You should consult the doctor before doing any changes in your eating routine. If anything went wrong it can severely affect your body.
