  • Hi all,
I’m sure I have seen other people comment that fasting affects their sleep. I fasted yesterday and really enjoyed it but could I sleep last night?! I was folding laundry at 3.00am 😂 I think I got about 4 1/2 hours sleep but I actually feel great today! Loads of energy and not a bit tired. I’m not sure if this is to do with the fat/ketone burning (which would be good) or the cortisol response to the ‘stress’ of fasting (which would be less good). Any thoughts please? Thank you

Sleep is becoming an issue for me too. Hoping some other experienced folks will chime in here.

Garlic water helped me a lot with sleep. In general, I read that you can eat a couple of cloves of garlic before bed for sleep, but I also found an article about garlic water, and it helped me a lot.
