Morning Porridge…Fast Day

  • I always have porridge for my fast day, made with milk and water, followed with a few strawberries and raspberries.

    My daughter has now started the 5.2 after seeing my loss. She told me she puts all the fruit on top of the porridge, I tried this it tastes fantastic just like a lovely pudding. She is now experimenting with different fruits. Kiwi and plums at the moment.

    As winter starts and fresh fruit starts getting expensive, frozen fruit would be cheaper and give the same taste…nearly.

    Maybe a few of you are doing this but new idea to me!

    I put the fruit on top of the porridge too- frozen works well just mix it in – changes colour of the porridge but the taste is lovely.

    blueberries are great with porridge too
