OK I saw the doctor today and my thyroxine levels was way too high so the dr said you reduce the thyroxine or stop the 5:2. I chose to drop my thyroxine by 25 % It will make weight loss harder but I managed when I dropped by the same amount in May. Also my LDL has gone to 5.2 from 2.2 in 6 months on 5:2 whilst my HDL remains basically unchanged. It could be my thyroxine being out so much but the dr will review in 3 months as it was so good on the last test. Any ideas out there?
