I have been on the fast diet for 2 years and have lost 2 stone and then maintained my weight loss. Recently I was admitted to hospital and diagnosed with a bleeding gastric ulcer and I am being treated with high doses of Omeprazole. My family are opposed to me continuing on the fast diet and my GP is not sure if I should. Has anyone any experience of gastric ulcer, is it harmful to fast.?
