I want to start the 5:2 fast plan, and my husband is willing to go along with it as well, but we’re wondering how to manage the two different calorie counts for male & female? it looks as if we have to cook two separate meals to get the calorie count right. Any other tips from others who may have encountered this problem?

I am in a similar position. We cook a ‘female’ meal and he adds on the extra 100 calories with an extra piece of fruit or whatever. Good luck
