  • I have been involved with weight lifting since I was 17….
    I am now 53…6ft tall and weight 110 kgs….
    Over the last 5 years
I have still been attending the gym but not as regularly as I once did….
As I am also an excellent cook you can imagine that I put on a few pounds….
So it was back to the gym…(Heavy weight low reps which is the best way to lose fat)
And this diet….which is weird because my eating habits have changed….not really by trying….
    I eat sparingly until I am full…and then I stop…..
And on the days I am feasting or gorging myself….
    I don’t
    I eat sparingly until I am full…and then I stop…..
    Weird…like I didn’t really have to try….
My weight went down to 106 …but is now back up to 110..
    So the diet failed?
    No!
    It worked!
    How do I measure this?
I need to go out and buy a new belt….
I have lost 10 centimeters on my waist….
And I have found my stomach muscles again!
Been a long while since I saw them!
    Ha! Ha!
Lifting the same amounts I did 20 years ago and feeling great

    Thanks Mike

Congratulations, Moses! Your story is inspiring 🙂

I do both: heavy weights for strengthening and low reps for looks.

What areas do you work out?

Congrats Moses! 6’2, 203 lbs. My weight hasn’t changed much either, BUT I need to buy a new belt and I’m weight lifting now more than ever. 130 push-ups this AM. New record. 🙂
