    on my second week and feeling good 🙂 today is my first fast day of the week and i have a burning question on my mind: does gum count against your caloric intake? i know each piece is equivalent to 5 calories, but we don’t really ingest it… i don’t know, it’s a good way for me to keep my mouth busy during my hunger pangs and i haven’t been calculating it into my caloric intake, but should i?


    Gum (and all other calories) count. Many people don’t count small calorie intakes like gum, tasting food when cooking, etc. which rapidly count up, and then wonder why they are not losing weight faster.
