  • Good morning friends hope all is well with you and yours. x

Thank you so much Newbs … very much appreciated. Looks like you are off to enjoy yourself so have a wonderful time. You deserve the best. Xx

Well, my dear Brits… so very chuffed after a few away days to report I am just over by about a lb.. so stomach has shrunk and not over eating as much … when food is on offer.

FD today … and maybe semi tomoz. No roast Sunday so as Tesco say “every little helps.

So come on my friends we can do this … its just Xmas after all the season of good will. Just a little mindfulness …no one will know. Just the one mince pie instead of 2-3 or as in the past maybe the box. lol

We can do tho is together guys… nothing tastes better to the body than feeling good outside and in Xx

Must just share this… while in London went into M&S bought a pair of lovely black soft evening style trousers. Size 14 med length .. plenty of room hung beautifully. Hoping for size 12 next year. It was wonderful not to worry about whether they would fit because I knew they would. Magic.. this way of life.

Roofer coming today hopefully todo the tiles that slipped and point the ridge. Will need to get dressed early. lol

Dont forget Brit lovelies touch base … even if things are not going to plan… we have all been there and will go again, touch base just a line. We can do this WOL.

As the song says ” There aint no stopping us now. ” Xx

    Hoorah Hemmy is home!

Sounds like one hell of a fab time. Those evening trousers sound perfect and a loose size 14. Ooh, ooh and ooh again. So happy for you. x

Newbs, hope you have a great time and have a boogie for me. So good for the soul!

Celtic, hope you have a good trip. Take care.

Everyone else. Let’s count our blessings. I have got into the Christmas spirit and am perusing the huge box of decorations I have accumulated over the years. Time for a cull I think.

    Bev x

    Hi Bev x

Just nearly had a fit …thought you were going to say ” perusing a huge box of chocolates”. lolol.

Having a FD at home. ( hopefully with the builders. lol Going to do the 30 mins a time on pressie wrapping .. finishing decs. Bought a nice big bunch of red carnations from Aldi for Β£2 yesterday.. Mixing them with loads of greenery from the garden for the fireplace.

We have an artifical tree because of the droppings and Mr Pips … Anyone have a real one… nothing beats that smell in the house.

Have alovely room spray from Marks .. winter spices Mmmm.

Washed dressed … just need a bit of lipo and I will be good to go… although probably past sell by date. Lolol Xx

Welcome back hemmy….you have been missed. …hope the roofer turns up nice n early, glad you had a fabulous time in London sounds wonderful.
Newby enjoy your break but come back to us soon.
Celtic hope all is ok at home with dad.
Beverley enjoy sorting out the baubles, I always buy something special each year for the tree, it’s lovely when you dig them out the box to remember who you were with and where you got them from.

The hallway is finished, all painted, new doors on and carpet down, although the carpet fitted was the dirtiest workman ever, he left us to pick up all the carpet offcuts, which he had very kindly thrown into every room in the house, took us an hour to pick them all up….

Enough chatting, have to go and ring my mum, have a good day all,

    Audrey

    Hi All,

    Hi Dear friends xxx

Thank you Audrey xx Glad your all done and dusted now before xmas with the carpet.

Lol talking about Builders… turned up at 8.30 did the loose tiles .. now gone after having a cup of tea. May be back this afternoon as they need new brackets fot the guttering.. or Monday morning. Went off know I have a dog and left my gate open. Sign of the times I reckon. Lol

Sym .. well done you .. what a FAB amount 2 lbs …. 2 POUNDS WHEY Hey weigh to go . Brilliant news on this dark grey morning. Xx

Celtic Know just how you feel about leaving home and animals. Have to really push myself .. then when I get out of my comfort zone quite enjoy it. Always lovely to get back home though. I always say ” Lovely to be Home as I am sure you do.

    Jean

Have a great weekend in your caravan, hope the sun shines on you…well done on weight loss too, fantastic.

Hemmy Glad your roof is almost mended, let’s hope he is back with bracket ASAP. ..

Have a great weekend my fellow brits, keep in touch together we are stronger. ……

    Audrey

    Hemmy
I imagine your builders have more than one job on the go and it sounds like a Monday finish to me! Neil was a builder lol and so is son. When the work comes in you can’t afford to turn it down. I guess at least you are watertight!!

BTW you will be judged on the tea!

Jean that is a fab park you are going to. Hope you enjoy and 2 lbs off each wow. I will finish your old diary tonight. Inspiring!

Audrey, how is mums leg? On the mend again hopefully.

Neil is on his second breakfast. Boy can he eat. An old pal has just hit target after losing 9 stone which is all that Neil weighs. Mind boggling.

Shall I have an FD or semi?? Decisions, decisions……

    Bev x

Well back from walking …miserable wet day. Think thats it with the builders for today .. It took two to go off for brackets. Lol Anyway I dont blame them hopefully Monday will be dry.

Can someone point me in the direction of Syms Diary please love to read it. Xx

Yes, how is Mums leg Audrey.

Karen how is your Mum coping now.

Not at all hungry as yet. Thought I would be…. skipping breakfast. Will have a bacon and egg sandwich … 2 satsumas for my one meal. Had lots
of tea … dont take suger and just a dash of milk so all good. Xx

Having a tidying up day today. Wrapped Kristys Birthday presents for Boxing day … Need to do some paperwork … plus Cook up some food for the freezer for Mr Pips.

Have a good day friends whatever you are doing. Xx

    Hemmy

Search for ‘first week weigh in very pleased’ – great reading. Inspirational if you get a bit ‘is this worth the bother’ as I did a while ago. Even if you are still firing on all cylinders as I think you are.

    Two Christmas babes! x

Chuck is on a different diet and so much better for it. He’s an old boy now and sleeps a lot but in good condition for his age.

I’ve had a boiled egg and velvet crunch so far.

    Speak soon.

    Bev x

Bev..how can Neil eat 2 breakfasts! and not put on weight..

Hemmy… Hope you get the roof mended Monday…keep Mr Pips safe…we are waiting for 4 blown double glazed Windows replacing, supposed to be yesterday chased them up now in the New Year but that’s OK.

Oops I had fish, hubby had fish and chips, it was wonderful…sat in the car, really best in our area..new to us! A treat it’s Friday…

Hope you like the diary, I re read it and it puts us back on track, I now know what should be coming off…

I am hoping for 1 stone off each by the end of January…a special holiday for us..to India, the Golden Triangle, then Sri Lanka. Go while we are fit enough.

    X

Fish and chips in the car or even just fish. OH yum yum. My idea of heaven especially by the coast…..oh that ozone. Or come to that even inland. lol

I know Hemmy will love your diary as much as I do. One peek and I am up and running!

I am sure the builders will be back no probs. Just very busy I guess. A roof job goes with the time of year.

Have a good time Symba and OH. Guess you are going for Sat and Sun night.

Oh that holiday. How heavenly. I am so green with envy I look like the jolly green giant!!!!!

Neil is just having a snack. He NEVER puts weight on. 9 stone and it’s hard to keep him up to that. He had a very bad accident when he was 21. Bad skull fracture (front temporal lobe area), broke his neck BUT NOT his spinal cord. Crushed 2 more vertebrae etc etc etc. He was in rehab for 6 months. Left arm was paralysed for so long they said he would never get the use of it back.

He prayed every night when lying in bed. One night he could move his fingers. Gradually got the use of his arm back but minus trapezius muscle that side.

Incredible that he worked as a builder again after. He is religious even now.

He never put weight back on.

I met and married him when he was 27 so never realised. Lots of future probs though but I shan’t bore the pants of you.

    Bev x

Neil sounds a very very lucky person…it must change you big time….make every day count.

    Take care x

    Hi Jean

Well done on the 2lbs loss.

    Hi Hemmy

Glad you enjoyed your break. London must be hectic this time of the year.

    Hi Audrey

I hope Mum is now steadily improving.

    Hi Bev

Yes I do like fish and chips once in a while. We have one good fish shop and I gent a pensioners large fish with a free scoop of chips and we share, this way not too much of a good thing!!

    Hi Celtic

Enjoy your time away, I find it always makes me appreciate coming home more.

Today should be fast day but for the first time I think since I started it turned out not to be. I have had two this week though so not too bad.

A hectic week followed by another one next week and nothing is even Christmas related. I just need a quiet couple of days.

Hi to everyone else, I am sorry if I have missed posts.

    Ginette

Good morning friends hope all is well with you and yours. x

Hopefully a brighter day today. I am now on Monday to be graced by my builders again. lol ”

Bev thanks for the link to Syms diary. Xx

Sym .. I will have a good read when I get my laptop back.. problems being sorted another Β£50 I expect Lol using old comp at the moment which is a pain. So slow.

Hi Ginette you sound very busy .. hope you dont get too stressed out. I have just started taking “Yeast Vite ” tablets again. I used to take them years ago when busy .. stressed or run down. I thought they had gone off the market but saw them in Lloyds pharmacy for 4.99 for 100. They are good.

London was busy but lovely … Trains ran well on time .. a long but exciting time for
two good friends “Up from the country. lol Xx

Did the Fast successfully yesterday … one meal at 2-3 suits me well with some fruit. I have a satsuma before bed as advised by a friend and it has cured the in transit situ. lol

Hope all our little corner are doing well … and anyone else looking in Xx

Well enough rambling from me … Fellow Brit Lovelies… a note to yourself…

We are not perfect by any means… but we are worth it. Xx

    Morning all,

Operation santa stash moves into another phase today with the wrapping of presents being done this morning. Vicky is coming round at 9 to get started, there are an awful lot of them to be wrapped….both girls going to see nanny this morning then a dance competition this afternoon.

Mums leg continues to worry us, the nurse came yesterday and changed the dressing and a lot of skin just peeled off it! On a better note though her arm is getting better. …

I have got to go as vicky is on her way, have a good day everyone fast day for me today and tomorrow

    Audrey

    Hi all

Hope everyone having a good day πŸ™‚

Symba..well done on your great loss ! You must be really pleased x

Bev..so sorry about your son’s tools. Horrible at this time of year when enough expense already. Hope he can get sorted soon x

Audrey..your poor mum. Skin like paper when they get old and takes ages to heal. Hope mum goes on OK and that you’re having a relaxing w/e x

Hemmy..great to have you back..sounds like you had a fabulous time πŸ™‚ those trousers sound lovely and so good to hear reducing size stories!!

Celtic..hope you have a good w/e away πŸ™‚ how is Mouse now?

Milena..hope sales have picked up for you πŸ™‚ the Karcher window washer sounds fantastic but not sure I want to put cleaning items on my xmas list..wouldn’t want to set a precedent!!

Ginette..hope all good with you..and Pam. Take care of yourself x

Sig Newby Blaise..hope all OK with you x

Thanks for asking about my mum. She’s going on OK, eating as well as she can but v small appetite. No improvement with short term memory. Don’t expect any really. Getting used to her new routine with lots of carers etc..safe and being looked after so all going on OK. Fingers crossed!

I have now dipped below my target weight with 0.5 kg loss this week..yay!! I’m going to set my new target soon but for now I’m enjoying seeing the progress on my tracker. Still onwards and downwards and staying focused πŸ™‚

Hope you all have a relaxing eve x stay cosy x

    Karen
    Xx

    Morning all,

Hope you are all having a good weekend,

We managed to wrap some of the presents yesterday, vicky is coming again on Thursday to finish up the rest,

I completed my fadt day yesterday, not liquid but under 500 kcals, I think I am missing my partner in crime (milena) on my fast days, it’s not as much fun on your own!

Karen congrats on weight loss much be great to reach target. I am glad your mum is getting sorted out finally.

Hope you are ok keep in touch

    Audrey

Good morning friends hope all is well with you and yours. x

Another wet grey day but at least not flooded and its very mild. So blessed.

Wow Karen you are our star .. how very brilliant to be under goal and just before Xmas too. What an present to yourself after all your determind hard work this year. So absolutely thrilled for you Karen. Xx

Audrey well done on your fast yesterday. Have Mum for the week-end as Kristy is in Brighton. Mum eats small meals so its been good for me… A big plus is no wine. F D tomorrow hoping and its looking good for a lb.

Hope all our Brit lovelies are okay … look in tell us how its going for you. Plus anyone else Xx Remember ……

Someday is not a day of the week. Xx

    Hemmy

Have a lovely time with your mum, I am glad she is a good influence on you, mine is terrible she forces me to drink a glass of port every night, it’s such a hardship hehe lol.

Hope you manage your lb loss!

    Audrey

Good morning friends hope all is well with you and yours. x

Hope everyone had a lovely week-end. Although now its busy busy.

Fast day today … one meal at 2pm seems to suit better for me. Funny this year not too bothered about mince pies and rich food as I have been in the past. Thank goodness long may it continue.

Sym love your diary .. you are doing brilliantly once again. You have that determination its plain to see. You are not going back this time. Xx

Audrey .. the glass of port being forced made me chuckle. Lol hope you are feeling better now and back not playing up. Xx

Hope you all are doing well take care. Xx

Have a good day you darling Brits … just a thought… Christmas is made up of FIVE DAYS…EVE >>>DAY>>>BOXING>>>>NEW YEAR >>>EVE >>>DAY. Not the whole month. JUST SAYING> Lolol Xx

    Morning all,

I managed my 2nd fast yesterday but have to admit it was very hard. I think it’s made harder by knowing we have cupboards heaving with all sorts of christmas goodies….

Down 1 lb this morning yeah!

Hemmy I have shopped for at least a month my freezers are all full, and I am at mums from boxing day until new years eve! I know she has full cupboards too.

I just keep telling myself it doesn’t matter if i put a little weight on as long as mum enjoys it, you never know how many more we have to share!

Have a great week and keep in touch, together we are stronger!

    Audrey

    Hi Audrey x

Wow fantastic losing that lb when it gets harder by the day. Well done you. Xx

Yes, we have to treasure our Mums .. hopefully keep them happy and safe… they deserve it.

I am desperately trying to tell myself that however much temptation around at this time I must try to keep sorfof on an even keep. iykwim. Lol

Keep telling myself that I arrived here because I lost the plot and control of eating.

The trouble is there will always be a tempation an excuse… Valentines … Easter…bank holidays .. a circle. Really want to break it.

With difficulty I am trying to abide by the old fashioned saying of childhood… There is always another day. lolol

    Ginette,

Nemum has just posted on the loca thread! Thought you may want to contact her know you were close.

Hemmy, I wish I had your motivation, I am already struggling with xmas food, keep thinking I am losing my mojo…. will have to try to get it back but it is hard as I can no longer exercise, with back and knees playing up, my old go to comfort when in pain was food now I feel a bit lost! I am doing my best to make the right choices but do find it easy to slip back! I suppose its all part of the learning process….

Let’s get through xmas then I can start to worry about valentines and easter hehe ☺

    Audrey bless you. Xx

I have to say I think you are one of the most dedicated here. You have had some hard months worrying eg your Mum .. health of late . Yet still keep us motivated.

We can do this .. we have all come so far.

Ps… Lolololol Easter will be in the shops on New Years day. Xx

    Hemmy

Noooo I LOVE EASTER EGGS!…. I am doomed Mr Mannering hehe lol

I have got halfway to my weight loss goal this year, next year I am going to reach my destination. …. this is my new years resolution. …

Together we are stronger we can do this

    Audrey

Audrey .. you will get there girl… if anyone can it will be you.

My biggest thing today is whether the builders will come to finish the roof. Lol Xx

    Hi Guys,

Back after the weekend, I love Clumber Country Park..what a let down for Xmas. We thought it would give us the start to the festivities brass bands, Christmas Fayre, mulled wine. Weather wasn’t great but it’s what you expect a wrap up warm..no brass band, mulled wine so bad couldn’t drink it, not many lights. We invited friends but they had family weekend..I am so glad I would have been embarrassed. So sorry for the people who paid to go in.

We had a drink or two and a few more, lots more choc biscuits! Naughty.

Fasting today hoping to turn it around!

Well done Audrey another 1 lb off and getting half way through your weight, a really good luck to next year.

Glad you got under your goal Karen..well done..and another 1 lb off

Ginette ..find your quiet few days before Xmas.

Look after your Mums..wish mine was still here.

    Hi to every body else

Cooking a ham to have with a salad tonight. Feeling quite flat after the weekend. Hope we improve may cancel going away at Xmas and stay at home!

    X

    Jean

What a disappointment for you and you were so looking forward to going to clumber. …so sad when you build something up in your mind then it’s not as good in reality. ..

Sounds like to managed to enjoy at least some of it (hinting at chocolate biscuits and drinks) hehe!

Hope you turn that frown upside down before Christmas! Enjoy your ham I love home cooked ham, just can’t beat it…

    Audrey

    Hi Sym

What a shame about the week-end..So sorry to hear that.

I must admit this year more than ever I am not very impressed with any Xmas stuff I have seen so far. Lots of the shops look a bit after thought and tacky.
Of course now everything comes back to money unfortunately.

The loveliest Xmas I enjoyed for the spirit was a few years back we spent it and the New Year in Maderia. Decorations all made of wood .. with beautiful scenes all down the streets. It was wonderful.

Cooked ham Mmmm just getting ready for a bacon and egg sandwich FD style. lol

Up until now no sign of the builders. What a suprise. Xx

I think you see all the happy scenes on TV…Christmassy, crowds of happy families all together, Christmas songs…maybe some are like it ..but for most people it’s just not like it, just another day with a bit more fuss!

I am not miserable honest! Madeira sounds just lovely..some places just make the special effort. I wish.
I think you are right it all boils down to money.

Good news jeans are definitely getting a bit slacker not a lot but a bit…I have to keep hitching them up.

    X

    Hi fasting buddies

Sounds like everybody is motivated and doing well despite the temptations which are around us all the time. Well done Jean, Karen and Audrey with the weight loss! Yeah!

Friday saw me weigh no heavier or lighter – 1lb loss would have been nice but at least I didn’t go up!

Brilliant weekend in Plymouth- Joel’s Holland was very good on Friday and we had a great night out on Saturday at a blues bar! Needless to say, I am too old for all this (well maybe just out of practice!) and I am pooped!

Hope your builders did the job today Hemmy – it is so nice to have things sorted before a new year begins.

FD for me today so think I’ll be having an early night.

    Have a good evening all.

    Newbsx

    Hi Newby

Glad you had a good weekend, it’s years ago but I used to go out with a boy from Plymouth I have very fond memories the place. …

Have a good evening everybody I am having a early night so will say night night,

    X

Good morning friends hope all is well with you and yours. x

Well yesterday was wasted on waiting in for the roofers. Call at 3pm will be here Wed.

So hopefully finished then. So annoying its like you dont have e a life. lol

Anyway, pleased to say just weighed and lost a lb .. Whey hey. So pleased after last weeks outings. So now drumroll … 3lbs off Xmas eve challange.

Hi Newbs glad you had a lovely time and no damage done. xx

Sym … I call 2 slices of seeded bread … 1 back rasher … 1 egg… 2 satsumas my one fast day meal. I have this at 2-3 pm … filling… tasty. and it seems to work. No faffing about with anything else thats it

Take care Brit lovelies and everyone … Growth begins when we start to accept our weaknesses. Xx

    Morning all,

Ian is just finishing his last night on, so I am going to try to be more mindful of my non fast days this week.

Hope you are all doing ok

    Keep in touch

    Audrey

Hemmy ….well done on the pound off..

Audrey….just saying to hubby about being mindful on what we are eating…a bit of the calm before the storm!

Painting whites on this morning going to paint were the water leak happened…I must say had these on 2 months ago at daughters were rather tight…a wriggle in….today defiantly a bit more looser, normal! Surprising what 7 lbs make….

    All have a good day

    Jean x

    Morning all πŸ™‚

Audrey and Hemmy.. well done on both losing 1lb..and well on the way to the Christmas eve challenge!

Newby..well done for staying the same. It’s been said here before that it’s worth celebrating as at least it’s not an increase..and it really is! Stay focused and you will be rewarded πŸ™‚

I am so glad that I started this journey some months back. With the help of 5:2, determination and fantastic support on this forum I have got to where I am now. I won’t be paying any attention to those quick fix New Year diet fads as this WOL works and is all we need!!

Symba..so sorry your w/e was not as good as you’d hoped x at least you enjoyed the food and drink πŸ™‚

Hope everyone else is doing OK x

Check in when you can Brit Buddies πŸ™‚

FD for me today and Thurs..time for another coffee..and housework!!

    Karen
    Xx

    Good afternoon fasting buddies

Well done Hemmy on the lb off! Must be feeling great! I have only lost 2lb since we started the challenge but won’t weigh in finally until Christmas Day!

Went to kettle class this morning- was really good but not sure how good at walking I will be tomorrow! Met a girl there who had lost 2.5 stones on 5:2 and she was a great encouragement! Looking forward to good weight loss by the end of next year. Someone suggested to me that following the slimming world way of eating on NFD trains you to eat better! Will have a look in the new year !

Karen, how much have you lost and how long did it take you? Well done on your success ? Just being in control and not riddled with guilt just means so much.

    Have a nice evening all

    Newbsx

Hi Dear friends and thank you. Xx

Just finished Xmas shopping today. So pleased. I dont use Tesco now but had a *Β£8 voucher in the post… if you spend 40 So went up to my nearest small town and got our wine in . Some good wines reduced prices too. Hardly anyone in there so nice stroll around. Lots of bargains. So wine now hidden in the shed lolol from Kristy and I. We love butter and Anchor is at Β£1 so stocked up on that. Lovely cheese selection boxes down from 8 to 4 pounds.

Went on to another small town nearby. Edinburgh Wool closing down so got a beautiful fleece bright red dressing gown for Mum. Β£20 from Β£30. Even M and S half price stuff already. Got a friend an oblong tray with belgium Chocs on Β£7 from Β£15 … a gorgeous big basket of red Xmas plants Β£10 from 15 it would have been unheard of in Marks years ago. lol All very quiet everywhere too.

Now would you all like a laugh this grey afternoon. Lol Just as I left for shopping the post arrived with the invoice for the work that is hopefully being finshed tomorrow. Lolol Makes me wonder if they never had a little private job on the go half of Friday and yesterday. Obviously their head office thought it was done and dusted.

Take care my Brit friends … please drop by we are all missing you. XxX

Just seen your post Newbs. Xx Well done on the 2lbs so far. Think the longer you go it does get easier. Today never ate till 3pm a cheese and tomato roll … intended a mince pie also. Was to full though. Busy with the shopping and not thinking of food so much now. Nice to feel slimish too. At one time would have had breakfast …… 2 of those rolls and even maybe a mince pie. Lolol Have come a long way on the journey this year. Couldnt have kept the interest without you guys. xx

    Hi Newby

I have lost just over 9 kg so almost 20 lbs. I am at the weight recommended by our local Chest and Heart clinic..66kg..for my height of 162 cms and age..now 54. Now I’ve just dipped under the 66 kg I feel I could go down to 62 kg and not look scrawny! I am also in the healthy bmi range and have also managed to reach the half height equals waist ratio..so I want to stay there..or even improve slightly πŸ™‚

I started mid July so it’s taken me 5 calendar months. I’ve only ever done 2 FDs per week but settled into a good routine which I found suited me and I’m lucky that my losses were consistent!

Hemmy. .well done you on the fantastic shopping trip! Great bargains! ! And those builders..ha ha ..what are they like?!!!

Have a good evening all πŸ™‚

Stay cosy..wet and wild here πŸ™

    Karen
    Xx

    Hi Karen

Thanks for that. You have done really well and it gives me hope as I am a similar age to you (3 yrs older).

I started on 19 October and have lost 9lb so far so am probably losing at roughly the same rate as you did although I have 3-3.5 stones to lose! Hopefully 2016 will see some success.

Hemmy, sounds like you’ve had a spree, we all love a bargain!

    Newbsx

Wow Karen that is brilliant. You are so consistant too.

You must be thrilled and your hubby .. bet he has fallen in love all over again. Lol

Yes, think just the 2 fasts are the way to go as any more then becomes a diet so to speak and not just a WOL.
You can fit 2 in nicely almost undetected. Well done Karen… so thrilled for you. Xx

Karen that really is amazing and to get to your goal and a bit more, a steady weight loss is the thing…I think and it was for us quite hard to maintain at the weight you want. Take it steady and keep weighing without loosing sight of your goal weight. Really Well Done.?

Hemmy lots of lovely bargains ..a good day for you

Newby looks like we will be keeping close to you next year to loose the pounds, I would of liked 2 stone off but hubby said 2 1/2 would be better! I love him too!! ….Still he is looking at 3 stone

Is everybody else nearly at their target?….if so we still need your support……all Brits together..

Audrey, Ginette, ,Sig, Bev how are you all doing?

    Have a good evening

    Jean x

    Hi Newby

Well done on your loss so far! You must have noticed a change and that gives you the confidence to carry on. Even on weeks when the scales don’t move I think there are subtle body changes to take encouragement from. Wish I had measured more places..only did the waist unfortunately!

Hemmy. .I absolutely agree re 2 FDs per week. You are right in saying that any more and it would feel more like a diet and that is not the intention. 2 FDs slip into your routine and it all feels like a normal WOL.

I guess other configurations work for some..it depends on how much you want to lose and the time scale.

Of course the positive feedback on the forum is invaluable! A wealth of knowledge and experience. .and fun!!

Keep up the cheerleading and the one liners Hemmy..you are such a starβ˜†β˜…β˜†!!

Have a relaxing eve all πŸ™‚

    Hi all

Congratulations karen on your loss, and please people keep posting your success and failures here, only by keeping in touch and sharing our ups and downs are we going to get through this hopefully all of us together, perhaps some sooner than others but with each others support I have every faith we will all get to the finish line eventually.

    Together we are stronger

    Audrey

Good morning friends hope all is well with you and yours. x

Amother wet… grey and warm one here.

How is everyone doing at this stage of the game before the feasting begins.

It does get hard when there are so many temptations around. Thing is we have all come a long way this year but are still having to avoid reverting to old ways that led us here. Easier said than done at times I know.

As Audrey says .. Together we are stronger. We most certainly are. Sometimes some tiny little thing is mentioned here and can be real food for thought. iykwim.

So come on troops we can get through this intact or slightly bruised.Lol We know we are not perfect and how boring would that be. So lets share our ups and downs together in our little corner of the world. Xx

Have a good day Brit Lovelies.

Stop saying I wish … Start saying I will. Xx

    Hi Audrey
I quite agree it is bloody hard. Today trying to do a FD also, as not going out. Present wrapping .. last hopefully.
It also must be alot harder for people with families … hubbys to cater for.

I do struggle with this old comp.. so slow… no spell check. lol. Cant wait till Fri to get my laptop back.

Praying for builders today. Lol Xx

    Morning fasting buddies

Audrey, I am with you on the 25 lb 2016 challenge, in fact my aim is 28lb! If I do 25 , I will be happy!

Off out with mother and daughter today so mindful eating is the name of the game today.

    Have a good day all.
