Hi All!
What a great load of posts to read…..love it! So interesting and fun to read all about Australia Day and also Burns Night! What a contrast….especially in food π
Milena, my maiden name is Murray, so we reckon we have Scottish ancestry. My parents and one sister even went to visit Blair castle, the ancestral home I believe! I’ve only been to Edinburgh but would love to see more. My dad climbed Ben Nevis when he was in his 70s!
PH, delighted that you’re getting used to your new bed and I’m sure it will do your back lots of good.π΄ I’m so jealous that you never seem to be under pressure to stay below your TDEE, I have to really watch out on nfds or I’ll easily go over.
Dawg, love the poem and agree with the sentiments! How wonderful that your move has benefited your health….that makes it all worthwhile I’m sure. π
SJ, you make my mouth water with the delicious variety of tasty food that you just ‘whip up’! π
Barb, you really are strong, focussed and determined and you will succeed. As others have said, stick with us here and we will support you all the way. We know that certain meds make it more difficult but you will get results if you keep on plugging away πͺπ
Jade, great to hear you got the hunger dragon under control, well done! I managed to persevere too and my dragon is under sedation…for now, anyway! πΉ
AA, you’re doing a great job, loved barramundi when I was in Oz, you can’t go far wrong when you have fish π
CG, lots of great advice for Barb and everyone as usual. Hope you enjoy your pork chop, I’m not a fan of pork really but my butcher does a lovely rolled stuffed joint which I roast and that’s very tasty mmmmmπ
I’m off to the cinema today to see the film ‘Room’, which has an Irish director and has been nominated for a few Oscars. I read the book ages ago and was very impressed. The only problem with going to the cinema is that I have to have some nibbles, usually chocolate because I can’t stand popcorn! Must try and make it fit into my TDEE….wish me luck!
