Day 7, Idaho USA, Warrior Fast day
Woke up hungry today. Not sure what’s driving it, but with just 1 1/2 hours to my normal breaking of my fast I think I’ll survive. Finally scheduled a physical with a local physician. I think it’s been 10+ years since I’ve had any routine work done (shame on me!), so this won’t tell me if things are better or worse, but at least I’ll begin to have a baseline.
It’s been a very busy day here. I’ve been reading posts, but getting distracted so frequently that I just feel a bit out of sorts. Going to go ahead and post before I lose this. 🙂
@lorky35 – don’t get discourage by the “before” you can’t do anything about it but what you are about to do, work on your “after” !!!
@coda – you rock and your advice rocks. Thank you.
@louiseo46 – I do great with fasting and running up until about 7 miles. I am not running that far just now, 3-5 is where I’m sitting this summer, but this spring I did fine up until about that point. I always feel so light and free running in a fasted state. I don’t know a better way to describe it. When I get beyond that mileage I start to have a mental block. Don’t know if there are real physical reasons to stop, but even running on NFD during that period of training tripped me up and I’d just end up quitting FD’s too frequently.
