  • Day 4: Pacific NW USA, NFD

Did my HIT on the bike yesterday. Had halibut and tomatoes for dinner last night, and tasted the flourless chocolate cake that was plenty sweet. Came home and had berries and cream so that put me over my goal of 1200 cal. I set a low bar and that helped me to at least keep the cals pretty reasonable for a NFD. Today will be easier as we’re not dining out with friends like last night.

Micky42 I know you can do the liquid only fast but in my experience it’s the same challenge the day after as many have recounted after any fast day – the NFD’s are what are almost the hardest to control. My challenge is to be vigilant 7 days a week with 5:2 because any day I go over TDEE it counteracts what I accomplished on the FD’s. Planning exactly what and how many calories I will eat on the NFD at least helps minimize slippage. Maybe after we’ve been so successful supporting each other on FD’s we can devise a plan for supporting each other as strongly on NFD’s too!

Kay65 – I’m scheduled for a FD starting tonight till Sat AM with you (although in a different time zone).

I was going to wait on that Fri FD because I’m doing a b2b on Sun snd Mon with ETJ to finish off the challenge but I may have a smidge to eat with my Mom and brother Sun night when we make a hasty trip to see them. We want to bolster my 94 year old Mom’s spirits because my aunt passed away this week and she can’t make the trip to the funeral. I offered to take her but it’s not a good time for her to travel so far. My aunt actually passed at the big family party they were having on her 90th birthday. At least her entire family was there with her. They thought she was choking but turned out it was a heart attack. Pretty bizarre though. Any way, hate to make it all about me but I will still plan to fast those 60 hours and offer to make a nice brothy soup for my Mom on Sunday eve before we leave (serving myself just the broth) and leave her with the leftovers.

Hi And …exhale – welcome back!

Song – there is a phase 3 in September in the works. I also feel so much stronger with our group by my side!

Northern – when I’m feeling those hunger pangs on a FD I try to visualize my body’s mechanisms rounding the corner to burning those stored fat cells. I read somewhere it happens after 24 hours on a liquid fast so right when you said you were trying to sleep during that last 12 hours.

I am so envious of you Brits who can meet in person!

Day 4: Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, UK: Non-fast day.
    Yesterday’s 36-hour fast SUCCESSFUL….yet AGAIN!
    NorthernDawn: You DID IT…40 hours…wow, I’m impressed.
I’m going for my third weekday 36-hour fast tomorrow, before a lovely non-fasting weekend.
    Who’s joining in? Coda?

California, USA Day 4. Today is a FD. My scale was good to me this am. I reached my 2 lb goal of 168 lb. Now to maintain and keep going downward. I officially hit the 20 lb weight loss mark since starting the 5:2 way of eating. I will be enjoying my FD today. Good luck to the fasters today. Stay Strong!

    Day 4, Québec

I am not fasting today unfortunately. Not well enough. And I decided to have a nice supper with my sister I haven’t seen since February. I will try again on Saturday ( starting Friday after supper ).

Sorry to let you down my 36 hours partners. But I am with you in spirit and I hope you will stay strong.

    Bonne journée.

    Hi all

Welcome back and…exhale – how was Japan?

Songbird – yes there is another challenge scheduled for September Phase 3. DebbieQ is going to lead us in that and will be keeping tabs on everyone. I will hand over my big stick next week lol. Maybe we should post if one has kept to our TDEE as a way of accountability? Debbie I am sure will keep everyone right as to what is happening September 1st is a Thursday and I am surmising we will either go to 29th which will be 4 weeks or right to the end for a 30 day challenge – her decision. JFitzy held the hand up for October so we may go right into the next challenge beginning Saturday 1st October for a four week challenge? I am thinking maybe Back2thefuture would consider leading us for November? And if anyone else wants to put their hand up for a Christmas special feel free – I think there are a few who have gained in confidence and would be more than capable of keeping tabs and inspiring us. Ciren2 your job in each of these Phases will be to organise our extended fasts – if that is ok? You have done a really good job in inspiring many to give it a ago. You have found a niche!

Ciren2 I started my fast last night and plan to keep going to Saturday sometime not decided yet. This will be the longest so far – bracelet on to keep me mindful although events today kept any thoughts from food. My dear Dad 87 was in a golf buggy and it lost control in wet grass and skidded into a tree – has a large gash in his head that needed 7 staples and has bruised his back. I met him at A&E – I think he was more miffed that he was winning among all his other octogenarian golf buddies and that I wouldn’t let him get his car to drive home lol. I hope when I am that age I will still have the get up and go he has. The paramedics were impressed with his blood pressure and heart rate lets up I have inherited his good genes.

We arrive in Dudley Friday and on Saturday evening meeting friends to celebrate their 40th Wedding anniversary. We don’t have our own transport but will be relying on train or coach to get around. We will leave Dudley on Sunday 28th to travel to London. I think the plan is to stay around Chiswick Sunday evening, Monday and think leave on Tuesday to travel to Newbury or that may be Wednesday (will check) I know we leave Newbury Thursday to spend a night in hotel near airport in readiness to fly out on Friday. So if any of these dates suit Brightonbelle or Ciren2?

Well done Cizzy2 you are the first to post achieving their goal. Maybe all that get their goal will get a bottle of bubbly?

Hey Quebecoise, you haven’t let anybody down including yourself. It’s so important to listen to your body and if today wasn’t the right day then you did the best possible thing not fasting.
I think the wonderful thing about 5:2 is that it is so flexible, make sure you really enjoy your time with your sister…we’ll be here for you tomorrow

Coda: I see you’ve seriously stepped up on the length of fasting…I can’t do it that long. I like my food too much to do two days running!
I am sticking with 3 X 36-hours (water-only) per week on alternate days with an eating weekend. I see you are roping me in on the organising….ok (if I can stay strong myself, of course..).
So, who else is joining me tomorrow? This (Thursday) evening til breakfast on Saturday? Liquids and/or water-only?

Hi – Ciren2 yes I sort of volunteered you lol – I am with you from now to Saturday also.

Also sorry NorrieB it was you that is up in the West Midlands area duh! Google advises Stourbridge is 14 mins away from Kingswinford (where we are actually staying) by bus but don’t know if Saturday will suit before either of us have to be elsewhere?

Q – Holly is right – this is the best thing about 5:2 it is not set in stone. It is flexible round whatever is happening. Not like a diet at all but a way of life which is why it is so doable – we just have to get rid of old mindset.

HollyLJ and Coda. Thank you for your support.

    Gozo, Malta

Condolences back2thefuture. I hope all is well with your mum.

Coda I hope your dad is well enough to enjoy another game soon.

I’m back from dinner. Ate pasta with sausages and sun dried tomatoes. I drunk only sparkling water. I hope I stayed within my TDEE.

    Good night everyone.

Thanks Anna you can’t keep him down. He is heading over to Scotland for a few days holidays next week and I guess it will be back to the golf soon after. Only trouble he is having is an ulcer on his leg that keeps flaring up. Going to see a specialist clinic tomorrow so hope they can help.

Q there will be other 36 hour fasting so when the time is right.

    Coda

I hope that SlimHealthy is OK. I remember she wrote that she was being expulsed from this forum and was having trouble finding her way back.

Thankyou micky42 and HollLJ it was hard especially as I had them feeling the car with yummy smell! But can’t let my buddies down!!
Tomorrow is going to be a challenge but by keeping my fast going til lunch time I’m hoping to stay under tdee!!
I will see how I am after this WF but if I feel I can’t control eating on a NFD then Ill go back to my 420cals! I would really like to continueW WFs for the health benefits.
So 9pm and still strong, I had the second half of my bone broth and finding sparkling mineral water a great help!!

Wishing everyone a very good night!

    I’m so hungry !!!
I’m going to have a cup of tea and go to bed early to keep me out of harms way!!
    Buona notte

Stay strong Holly! Enjoy your tea and sleep well!

Australia Day 3 NFD weigh in day and have lost 1.2kgs this week so very happy. Have also just completed my 2nd 36 hour liquids only fast so have earned that loss! Now for the real challenge – staying within my TDEE on the weekend. Good luck all!

    US Day 4 FD
BrightonBelle, thanks for the encouragement … I know I just have to stick with it and the weight will come off.
Following up on Coda’s post.. I will be doing the September 1 – 30 challenge. I’ll take roll once this challenge ends. Also Coda had mentioned that as the “lb” groups were such a success, we may want to continue them so I will keep track of that for those interested.Coda will be passing her big stick to me and I will have to test it out… LOL. Fast day is going good so far and I’m hoping to get another one in before weigh in… which I’ll do on Tuesday.

Sunshine Coast Aus Day 3: Finished my 36 liquid fast and scales say 103.6 kgs. So I have met 2 goals. I have shed 20.3 kgs since 26th April which leaves me 30 kgs to my ultimate goal. And was 107.5 on July 30th so have lost 3.9 kgs ( 8.59 lbs). I agree with everyone else that the 36hr liquid fasts really do help pull down the weight. I prefer a liquid fast to water fast as I do put cream in my coffee and that bit of fat probably stops my hunger whereas a dash of milk would probably give me the sugar hit. This thread has given me so much support. You have no idea how important it has become to me. Thanks for hanging in there with me Rocy65 and HollyLJ as my 6 lb buddies. I may well be closer to the 6 lb by Tuesday as eating out several times over the weekend but I know with the support you all give it will be a road bump, not an insurmountable barrier. Well done HannahWatto, Rocy65, HollyLJ, Ciren2 on your 36hour fasts.
I love the picture of you, Anna6, walking to the village square and going to mass. Did you go to school in Melbourne? Or did your friend move to Melbourne? Just curious.
Had better get up and get MILher breakfast. Happy fasting to those who are on FDs, WFDs and to all those on NFD, may you have the strength to eat within TDEE.

    Australia – Day 3

Finally my sons birthday has arrived 🙂 We managed to get everything finished yesterday – as good as we could anyways. Next week I’ll be busy re-doing the bricks around the roundel, it took 20 bags of sugar cane mulch to fill just the plant area. The fountain looks great, but the solar hasn’t turned on yet so no jetting stream of water. We are taking him to the movies at lunch time to watch Koda and the somthing. I have to go out now and set the sheep up with a new bale of hay and some grain, clean and fill up the horse trough, and spread the remaining sugar cane out.
I am excited about tomorrow. We are going American BBQ, I have ordered (and received) different spice packs etc. My husband is obsessed with all the American BBQ shows, so it should be a feast tomorrow. My Dad’s excited about it too. They will be here a little later this afternoon.

Take care all and have a great day!

    Fuvvie that’s amazing! Well done!

    US Day 4- FD

Was very hungry today, but stayed at a quarter of my TDEE!

    Croatia, Day 3, FD
    Weight: 78.2 Kg

    Italy Day 3 – NFD

I did it ! Having a cup of tea and will have breakfast at 9:00. I think i could go further but will wait until i get used to doing 36 Hours successfully.
I love the idea of working on our NFD’s all together thats what i find hardest..
Neostaford congratulations your weightloss is constant you must be very committed but surely you are nearly at your goal?

Still Day 4: Pacific NW USA, NFD, didn’t count cals but feel pretty good about the 2 salads I fixed, one with chicken and the other with shrimp. Did add some nuts and dried persimmons for dessert.

I will be ready to take the reigns and raise the stick in November after Debbie and JFitzy show me how to wear the Coda hat (picturing some kind of horse riding get-up but the metaphor sounds a little brutal unless you know Coda never actually hit anyone with that stick, only threatened).

Ciren – I’ve started my fast tonight and will go till Sat AM on tea, water, maybe ice coffee and bone broth. I think Kay65 was in also.

ETJ – everything you’ve done sounds wonderful – have fun!

Fuvvie – you started 5:2 just 2 days before me. There must have been something in our lucky stars because I can ditto what you said about how important this group is. I’m finding a new challenge in not losing my focus as I contemplate going back to work next week. I have to make my health the priority, not give it all away to the job!

Asweet and Holly – you did it, hooray! NFD’s should be an equal priority as we go forward.

    Day 3 Sussex U.K.
    NFD again today for me.
Weighed in at 12.12 or 180lbs. Haven’t been there for many years.
I am so glad that I found this forum. It reinforces my thoughts when I have had a’bump in the road’ lol.
Such kind words and gentle encouragement, and love reading about the doings of all of you around the world.
Weather here has turned grey and miserable. Gales expected tonight! Hope the sun comes back soon for a bit longer before Autumn arrives. Managing ok so far with family. A real handful is the 2 and half year old. Feisty. I think they come out like that now. 5 and 11 year old much easier. Big gathering here at the house tomorrow with extended family, but feeling in control today. See that, trying to be mindful and stay in the day. Tomorrow will come soon enough.
    Enjoy your day everyone.

Just a post script, I am in for the next challenge please. In for the long haul to maintenance.
I too appreciate the tips about coping and staying within TDee on NFDays.
    Thanks. X

    Hello old friends and new!

Wow, there’s been a lot going on while I’ve been away, and a definite trend towards longer fasts and water-only fasts from what I can tell. I haven’t read back enough to work this out, but is it mainly because 5:2 wasn’t working, wasn’t giving results quickly enough, or just to shake things up a bit?

back2thefuture, hope your Mom is doing okay, and condolences to your family.

Coda, hope your Dad’s ulcer gets sorted so he can get back out on the links. Have a great time in the UK!

Japan was fantastic (Coda, you have a great memory!) and we made the most of it – I’m finding it tough to match my 15,000 step daily average now we’re home. I was impressed by the consideration and friendliness of pretty much everyone we met – even the big cities were a pleasure to be in. Food was regional, seasonal, sometimes surprising, but above all, fresh. A little too fresh (alive!) in a couple of cases, and mostly quite difficult to identify – I’m glad I wasn’t trying to use MFP!

Anyway, back now and first FD was actually quite nice – I got loads done! Please put me down for the next challenge too!

    Hi UK day 3 19.08.16

Excellent Back2thefuture thank you – our group is in safe hands.

And….exhale – lol I wrote a note into my spreadsheet that you were heading off to Japan. If I don’t write things down i have no chance. I think the extended fasts are more for the health benefits of fasting – reducing insulin, exorcising cravings. It is also very empowering when you have completed an extended fast.

Just a word on the scale folks – they are fickle things and should only be used as a guide not the be all and end all. I have stuck religiously to the plan this week even throwing in a few HIT runs. Fasted yesterday (still going) and as a matter of curiosity weighed this morning and it is showing a gain – go figure. So 2 fingers to the scales, I feel better, I look better and my clothes are looser – please please please do not get fixated on scales. While we all want the scales to go down (and they will) do not get disheartened when they show a small gain, it can be for all sorts of reasons and nothing to say if you get on the scales later or next morning it won’t be a different reading. Just stick to the plan.

Debbie will be inviting for the next challenge next week so watch this space.

Ps – I am getting ready to hand over my big stick to Debbie – you have to be careful when googling big sticks ha ha!!

Coda – I’m getting ready for work and you made me laugh out loud… I have experienced the 2 fingers at the scale myself… probably multiple times LOL.

UK day 3 another switch yesterday so going for a fast day today

    Dorset Uk Day 3
    FD

Just a quick log to say Im fasting today, fluids only.

Good luck to the others who are fasting….keep strong…let that body rest, its only a day and we get to eat tomorrow!

    Kay

    Day3 – USA – NFD

Forgot to post yesterday, but had successful FD. I was very tempted a couple of times to eat, but I held strong. Everyone was eating leftover BBQ at work, which was tough. I did a group run in the late afternoon, and they had food waiting for us afterwards. Ugh. I made an excuse, went home and had my soup. I feel good about that.

Tonight is the first high school football game and my son is in the marching band. I will be volunteering to help get the kids water. It will be a long day, since I will have to go to the field right after work. I packed a sandwich to eat at the game. Otherwise I’m stuck with the hamburgers and hot dogs that they sell at the game. I’m trying to plan ahead.

I don’t think I made the challenge, but I will weigh tomorrow morning. I’m looking forward to the September challenge.

    Have a great weekend!

Surrey UK Day 3…….Hi All and CODA, Kingswinford is very close as far as I know, that would be great…I need to check with my son-in-law as to whether we will go to Church Stretton or not, if not, maybe we can meet in the middle somewhere for a coffee, or to be good, a glass of water! What is the best way to send you a mobile number?

If we do go to Church Stretton then it won’t be possible to meet because it takes a while to drive there. I am happy to send you my number on this thread, but I don’t know who else has access to us.

In the meantime, minimal eating today because I will be going out to dinner tonight.

Day 3 – USA *San Diego traveling

Good FD yesterday. My future sister-in-law (my hostess, a vegan) made the most delicious salad for me. She added all sorts of things I don’t usually have on my salads that vegans have and use. She had made some white sangria for us to share when I first got here, though, so I had to really watch how much of that I had. Beautiful fruit chunks in it.

NFD today. Going to a Mediterranean restaurant for dinner with my brother.

Looking forward to Debbie’s commanding a new challenge in September! Yeah!

Cizzy – looks like you and I are just about the same weight. I have broken 165 a bit and really want to be to 160 before the end of September.

    Downward we go!

Hi NorrieB I don’t think it wise to give a number on any forum. I had thought if it is possible for us to meet we pick a place and decide a time – a bit like a blind date ha ha! I had a look and there doesn’t seem to be anywhere really in between but there are some coffee shops, Jillys coffee shop and Amblecote cafe if you want to have a look? Oh how exciting and nerve wracking! Let me know your plans.

Just wanted to quote a piece out of The Obesity Code

This is the ancient secret. This is the cycle of life. Fasting follows feasting. Feasting follows fasting. Diets must be intermittent, not steady. Food is a celebration of life. Every single culture in the world celebrates with large feasts. That is normal, and it is good. However, religion has always reminded us that we must balance our feasting with periods of fasting – ‘attonement, repentance or cleasing’. These ideas are ancient and time-tested. Should you eat lots of food on your birthday? Absolutely. Should you eat lots of food at a wedding? Absolutlely. These are times to celebrate and indulge. But there is also a time to fast. We cannot change this cycle of life. We cannot feast all the time. We cannot fast all the time. It won’t work. It doesn’t work.

So for all with family celebrations enjoy them without guilt you do not need to feel guilty any longer (hope you had a fab day ETJ). We know the ancient secret of enjoying one of life’s pleasures and losing weight.

    Day 3 Minnesota, USA FD

Supper was 6:30 pm last eve and only water until this am, and only black coffee, so far. I’m planning a liquid FD today, but not a water (coffee, tea, water) FD. I think I’m done with them for now.
OH and I will go to local co-op to find some good bone broth or at least organic poultry, meat and bones to make bone broth. I do have some miso soup on hand that I will use this evening. I expect adding broth and miso to make my liquid FDs easier.

I feel like in the future sometime I will try a 3-4 day “purist” water fast for the health benefits. I feel like that’s a possibility now that I’ve done it for 40 hours. Funny how when you wake up in the morning, the hunger has gone away from in the night.

B2tF, I hope your mom is doing ok. Thanks for the visualization of my body kicking into the fat burning mode when experiencing hunger pangs. Very helpful.

Cizzy2, great job! Your cortisol levels must be pretty high some days with your shift work and Emergency Room stresses, and you have lost fairly steadily despite that. Well done!

Ciren2, thanks for the encouragement! I don’t know how you do 3 water-only fasts a week. Are you close to your weight goal now? Seem to remember you were about 7 pounds away a few weeks ago. Is it slow going now that you are so close? Is that why you are doing the 3 water fasts/week?

And….Exhale, welcome back! Glad your trip was so fun.

Coda, I hope you find answers to your dad’s leg ulcer. I’m sure it’s a worry at his age. He sounds like a great guy and wonderful role model for living life fully as we age!

Lisahawk, don’t worry about whether or not you meet the 3 lb goal. And, btw, I think you need the carbs for your running. In the past when I did strict very low carb diet, it really affected my speed for walking and running and other HIIT, but not stamina or endurance. (yes, believe it or not, there was a time I was into running and also weight lifting). Can’t believe it is football season already! Autumn is just around the corner. Then, unfortunately, winter. 😡

Patti67, congrats on new number on scale! Makes running after feisty 2 year olds and all the rest so much easier, doesn’t it?

    Asweet, you are doing great!

ETJ, have a great couple of family days!

I’m looking forward to focusing on highlighting successful NFDs at or below TDEE, as well as successful FDs. In the end, I think they will be the biggest challenge for me.

Good luck, each and every one!

Coda I’ve been looking into the logistics of meeting up in London, I believe you said you’re getting there Sunday ,leaving Tuesday I originally thought I might be able to make it work but the Monday is a Bank Holiday so unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to make it – maybe next time x

Day 3, Gloucestershire, UK: Fast Day. Less than 12 hours of 36 to go.
Coda, back2thefuture, Kay65…anyone else fasting 36 hours today….how are you doing? Keep on keeping on. Drink plenty of water to keep hunger pangs at bay is all I can say. I’m currently STARVING!
NorthernDawn…my goal weight is so close…maybe three pounds to go plus a bit of leeway for when I learn how to maintain. It’s slow at the moment…hopefully a pound per week. I aim to reach my goal weight by September (early to mid-) Twenty five years of fatness to be behind me, eh?

    Ontario
    Day 3
Busy week and time to post just today and one other this past week.
Off on vacation and will not post for a couple of weeks.
    Going exploring…

Day 3 Los Angeles. NFD today; it’s our daughter’s 19th birthday so I’ll have to keep close watch on myself during dinner and dessert! Everyone is doing well — congratulations all around, and stay strong.

Hi Brightonbelle that is too bad – not to worry, another time.

Ciren2 still hanging in there but I have had to dig deep. I have been so hungry this evening and hard when preparing food for other family members but have come so far to give up now. Would I do this long again (60 hrs) probably not lol. Think I’ll stick to 36 which should seem a breeze after this lol.

LS enjoy the vacation catch up when you return

Last weekend of challenge everyone, don’t blow all your hard work unless it is a special occassion off course.

    Day 3 update

I made it! Fluids only but now Im in bed to avoid any temptation.

I hope the scales are kind in the morning as they were horrible this morning!!

Well done everyone on the fast!

    Kay

Day 3 Cornwall UK. Feeling really proud of myself, my first fluids fast from Wed 4pm until today at 12 midday! I think that is 44 hours! I was very hungry last night but slept well and woke up with no hunger pangs! So just water and 2small chicken bone broths. I could have carried on but we had a our big family gathering which was lovely. I really haven’t been over hungry today and eaten mindfully my one treat being scone clotted cream and Jam!

Still under tdee for the day. weighed this morning and down to 146.4 so just half a lb to my 6lbs!!

I will definitely do a 36hr fast each week from now on.
So many compliments today felt really good!

Tomorrow maybe a fast day as I’m feeling rather full tonight!

Debbie count me in for September!

I’m off to bed so good night all! Happy weekend and stay strong for the last couple of days!!

    Day 3, Québec,

Congratulations to all who have had success and all who are still holding on. We make such a wonderfull team.

Eventough I didn’t fast yesterday, the scale was nice this morning. In fact, the app where I keep track of my weight and calories, etc even sent me a new badge ! Yyyyyyeeeeessss ! I have lost 10 pounds since my highest weight last november. Slow but steady. I never would have made it without your support. Thank you, thank you.

Please count me in for the next challenge.

I agree with many others that we should put our biggest energies on our NFDs. I noticed on my part that what happens too often is that when I’m under my TDEE I tend to let go and so I finish my day by going over my allowance. My biggest pitfall is to eat … Just minutes before going to bed on me NFDs. Then I go to bed and think to myself gggrrrrrr why did I do that ? What’s the idea ? So I guesse that going to bed ” sober ” will be my biggest challenge for the coming times. Will have to learn to wash my teeth earlier in the evening.

    Have a nice one !
    Bonne journée x

opps typo, and brain tired! Weight this morning 144.4lbs ,started challenge at 149.6 so 1lb to go.
    And now to bed!!

    Ireland day 3 fd

Staying on track but I feel I’ll be letting my 4lb buddies down come weigh-in …at this stage I’ll be grateful for any loss at all…but I’m not up and that’s always a bonus…

Australia Day 2 NFD Am so happy because I stuck to my TDEE yesterday after a 36 hour liquid FD and I worked out at the gym for more than an hour so really got ahead. I did this partially because I know I will go over my TDEEs today. My brother is hosting his first social event since his marriage broke up and he’s planning all sorts of treats. I’m trying to keep things under control but I am also going to concentrate more on him than me. We are off to the gym now so that will help. It’s all part of the WOL. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

US SE Day 3 FD. I think some of us have done extremely well during this last “lb” challenge and others not so much. I have to say I think I’m in the not so much group.. but as Coolcat says… no gain is a win too. Quebecoise, I am so with you on the eating before bed. I do the same thing and unfortunately I seem to crave sweet things then. I agree that maybe we should concentrate on our NFD’s next challenge and see if the group effort will help make a difference for those of us who are having a hard time with them.

Sunshine Coast Aus Day 2: FD today. Singing practice this afternoon. Massive afternoon tea always prepared by hostess but will stick to fluids. They know I’m on a mission. Well done Rocy65. Enjoy your get together. You will make the extra pound I’m sure. If not, you’ve done spectacularly well. All that exercise and proving to yourself you can fast 44 hours. Brilliant. Have fun with family ETJ. The bbq sounds like it will be super tasty. Congrats on getting all your chores done. B2tF, we are sisters-in-arms😄☺️ Enjoy your time with your mum. Bone broth is such a marvellous standby. She is a great age. HannahWatto, your brother is lucky to have such a supportive sister. Congrats on your successful fast and workout. Well done HollyLJ on your fast. I can feel the excitement from here.
Everyone is doing so well. Such a focused group. Good luck today to all those fasting and those looking to have a great NFD, whether feasting or planning to stay within TDEE. It’s a way of life, not a life sentence😘🤗
