  • I started the 5-2 diet 3 months ago to lower my bad cholesterol and loose weight. The blood test results are back and I’ve lowered my bad cholesterol by 30%. I’ve lost 30 pounds. I’ve reduced both my blood pressure and resting heart rate. All of my numbers are in the normal range.

I’m very happy I’ve found the 5-2 diet.

    Wow! That is awesome results!

That is wonderful! My cholesterol skyrocketed when I quit being vegetarian, started eating meat again and then put on weight. I’m hoping a combo of 5:2 with meatless eating will bring it down again.

    Congratulations!

In addition to the 5-2 diet, I believe I lowered my cholesterol through food. I made sure to eat beets and a red apple every day. I can’t stand the idea of oatmeal. I also tried to reduce the amount of refined carbs I was eating.

My wife is keto, so she eats high fat, moderate protein, and low carb. I would occasionally eat keto dinners. I never intentionally restricted my meat or fat consumption.

Good for you Bagua! Whatever you’re doing, it’s working well for you.
