  • hello from eastern Canada – excited to get my weight under control – hoping to lose 30 lbs. Hubby is doing it too and he has 25 to lose. We both like our food and drink a little too much. 1st fast day today for us both

Hello Plateaugirl42 from England. I’ve started 3 weeks ago and am definitely in the school of loving my food & drink more than I should
but am thinking this fast thing may just be the answer to my years of trying to find a diet that works. I’ve lost 6lb and can honestly say that on eating days I am doing just that… with no (conscious) denial of anything… Let’s see how it goes eh? Good luck to you & your husband 🙂

    Hey you two! 🙂

Had my first fast day yesterday and I am also very excited to loose arounf 20lbs which I did not manage to loose for more than two years now. By the beginning of summer I’d love to fit in my old clothes again!

My fast day yesterday went quite good although I was very lazy because I am off school and so I didn’t reach 1500kcal deficit because I just did not move enough. Therefore I did some exercise this morning already, I think it does not make a difference if I burm some extra calories on a fast or a feast day.

Good luck to all of you, we should keep each other updated on our progress!
Well done Lazygrrrl on your progress so far! 🙂

Day 1 went ok – I think I over ate a little at night but it’s progress not perfection right? Looking forward to this journey

welcome to 5:2 you learn as you go. Never beat yourself up when a day doesn’t work out exactly as planned. If you miss your daily goal by a little or a lot, tomorrow is a new day on 5:2 and we start each day with a clean slate.
