Yesterday was first day of second week

  • Hi I’m new to this thing and on 2nd week of fast diet. It’s very hard and it affects me more emotionally than physically it seems. I’ll give it a few weeks and see what happens. On the night after fasting i can’t sleep. last thursday i drugged myself to sleep and that worked. Today, i woke up at 1:30 and am still awake at 5:30. not sure how to calculate when i can eat. i think 6, since i ate at 6 last night. If i this inability to sleep continues, i don’t think i can keep going on this diet…

    I normally sleep very well but sometimes I don’t. Then I get up, make a cup of tea and go back to bed and read for half an hour. Before sleeping I always relax for an hour and I have camomile tea to make sure that my stomach is settled: it also seems to keep me calm. A glass of wine helps but that has to be factored into the diet. Another solution is having sex!
    Keep at it (the diet, I mean)
