What do people eat for non fast lunches?

  • Just wondering what you all eat for lunch on your non fast days. I have been using a shake program for the last 6 months and have lost 13 kgs but now I’m going to switch to 5:2. I understand what I need to do for the program but after drinking lunch for all this I’m really stumped as to what to have for lunch on my feast days. Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

    Hi Kathie and welcome:

    One of the hardest things about 5:2 is that you can eat anything you want as long as you stay 500 or less on diet days and TDEE or less on non diet days. That means your lunch options are unlimited. I always suggest you eat foods you like – why eat food you don’t like just because you are trying to lose weight? That just makes everything harder.
