Weight gain

    I have been doing the 5:2 for a number of weeks and am in fact getting fatter! I’ve been on so many diets since suffering from childhood obesity, and spent many years with weight under control. No longer! I’m in my 40s and battling the bulge. I like the 5:2 for multiple reasons- but weight loss is not featuring atm. I worry that because of my multiple diets over the years that my body is not responding like other people’s. Has anybody had a similar experience of not losing weight but in fact gaining? I want to stick with it in the hope that I will settle into it but very depressed about expansion. Anybody able to share hopeful experiences?
