Somewhat confused

  • Hi. I’m new to this site and have just filled in my profile, but am unsure about the last section where it says to enter your goal measurements.
    Goal weight is one thing, but how can you know goal measurements? Should that read current measurements?

    I didnt fill in the measurements part.

    Just trying to fill in my profile, and am also confused about goal measurements. How am I supposed to know what my neck size is likely to be?!

    The profile isn’t compulsory. The important thing IMHO is having something to aim for and goal weight fits the bill for most. Don’t be sidetracked by wondering what size collar you’ll be wearing when you’ve lost weight just concentrate on nailing 5:2

    Hi! I’m pretty new here too! I did fill in the goal measurements. I had help from keeping an archive of measurements for a previous weight loss program I’d followed several years ago. In 2009 I successfully lost most of my extra weight and calculated measurements along the way, so used those for my ‘goal measurements’ on the 5:2 tracking page. However, I hadn’t measured my neck, so used the website below to help me discover my ideal neck circumference. I also compared what this website said were my ideal measurements with those that I’d written down in 2009 and they were pretty close. So just thought to post the link in case anyone else might want to have a check out the ‘ideal measurements’ calculator…
