  • Anyone else try these and feel really sick with stomach cramps after them? I’ve had 5 packets now (won’t be getting any more), I eat one or two a week and after each time I feel horrendous. I prepare them as stated in the instructions and am no stranger to a high fibre diet. Am I doing something wrong or are they just yuck?!

    Hello,
I’ve never heard of slim noodles but on my fast day I use Bare Naked Noodles. Check out their website they were on Dragons Den. I make chicken stir fry noodles with Chinese 5 spice and light soy sauce and lots of veg then add the Bare naked noodles and they soak up the flavours and are delicious. Going to try spaghetti bolognese with them next week.

Hi thanks for the tip on the noodles. I really love noodles and I will definately try them. Can you buy them from supermarkets as I don’t buy on line as I work and am not at home to receive. Thanks

Hi, it says on their website they only sell to Morrison’s and Holland and Barrett. These noodles only have 8 calories so my stir fry came to less than 300 calories and I used 175g of chicken. I rinse the noodles well in fresh water before adding. I’m going to make spag Bol tomorrow with them. Enjoy!

You can get slim noodles on Amazon or they sell them in the health Isle in Tesco, in our this has the bizarre supplements and protein drinks, near to the shampoo and makeup! Also Holland and Barrett. They are about £2.50 a pack so get them on offer.

    Hi Chem Teacher
I don’t fancy the idea of slim noodles if they made you feel poorly. The bare naked noodles are cheaper too £1.99 and I really liked them. Another fast day tomorrow so I’m making spaghetti Bolognese with them so I will let you know how it goes. Cheers

Thanks Ray of Sunshine. I’m going to try the bare naked ones next thanks to your advice!

Hi I invested in a Spiralizer so my noodles are made out of courgette or butternut squash. Its also good for adding spiral carrots/beetroot to salads….adds a bit if variety!!

Sounds like a great idea PAG9667, thank you for sharing.
