Hi Folks: Since the pickles, I have say calorie free on the label is it acceptable to eat them as “free” food on fast days and not count against the 600 calories permitted?
Eckart, I’ve never seen a calorie-free pickle, although some are very low. The ones you have are made from cucumbers? I often eat them because they have a lot of flavor for very few calories, but I do count them. MyFitnessPal lists several that are around 5 calories or less. The ones that have sugar added would be more.

Eating pickled foods can help to supress hunger! There is no ‘free food’ on a Fast day. Count EVERY calorie, even the 5 for a pickle.
