Operation 50!

    I have 16 months to go til I turn 50 and I am determined to have a normal BMI by then. I did well at the beginning of the year and lost a stone but I think i have now probably put all of it back on (will brave the scales tomorrow as we are just back from holiday). We have a history of diabetes in our family and i really want to avoid that. I have a very stressful job with lots of travel – at home I m okay but when travelling I am awful – I like both sweet and savoury food and I also drink either nothing or else far too much!!

    Any help or tips would be really welcome!

    Hi Highland Lassie,
    I am new here too, but getting in and doing it is my best tip! I was nervous my first fast day, but it went well, and I have had 14 now and look forward to each one.
    My other tip is ‘slow and steady wins the race’
