Hi
I am 43 years old female trying to lose some weight for quite some time (maybe my entire life). A couple of years back using Weight Watcher I lost 30 lbs. I have gained all of that 30 lbs over last three years. Starting this year I tried many things and I was successfully losing and gaining same 5 lbs. Around mid-April, I got a Fitbit and started walking. By early June I lost the same 4-5 lbs and I was stuck again. Someone in the Fitbit forum mentioned huge success this diet, so I decided to give it a try. I started 5:2 Diet on the 9th of June weighing 163 lbs. I was very skeptical about this diet, as I have failed countless time. Never the less I had to try something different. I have now done two weeks and to my greatest surprise, I have actually lost 6 lbs. I am usually very happy to lose a pound a week. To keep the momentum going I have decided to be accountable weekly with my progress in this forum.
I am only 5β2β tall, in order to be in the healthy weight range, I need to be at 137lbs and lose another 20 lbs. My goal is to get there by Christmas. I need to lose a pound a week roughly to get there. I am determined to get there this time.
As for my fitness, I am trying to keep about 10k-15k steps daily by walking, sometimes running. I am also Jillian Micheal fan, I am doing her strength workout from Body Revolution Series.
My initial fast day was very had. It is somewhat getting better. I try to eat around 450-500 Cal on my fast days and between 1500-2000 Cal on non-fasting days.
Week #0 163lbs ( 36.6% BF )
Week #1 160 lbs
Week#2 157 lbs (34.2%BF )
Thanks
Sabina
