Help! I can’t get myself straight. I’ve been trying intermittent fasting with a shortened eating window while going to slimming world while looking constantly at all types of eating plans. Meanwhile I’m gaining weight and can’t seem to focus on one way and get on with it. I need inspiration! Help!
Just plain 5:2 works for me. I got the fast days right and then on non fast days I practice eating healthy meals, less snacks, more water, and gradually getting better at it.
I find 5:2 easy and sustainable. After about 15 months I got to the lower end of my healthy weight range and since then (4 years) I keep doing it for maintenance.
I hope you can find what will be easy and sustainable for you. Best wishes.
