A lot of the meals I have with rice I have noticed are actually very low calorie, so I figured I’d just drop the rice. However, I REALLY miss the rice. I also don’t think it tastes that good without something mild to counter the strong flavors. I’ve heard of quinoa, but from what I can tell from my calorie counter, it doesn’t look like it has less calories?
‘Rice’ cauliflower. Google it and see how to prepare it. It’s a really good replacement.

I use konjac noodles to replace ‘regular’ noodles and have noticed (this is not an ad, honest!) Slendier have a rice variety. The texture & flavour wouldn’t be exactly the same but it might be worth a try if you’re really missing rice. 🙂
Maybe you could just half the amount of rice as you usually have.
