New to the fast diet and just starting- want to lose a stone after a summer of eating and drinking – nice but paying for it!
Eating out is a problem- I have to at least twice a week.
Any helpful advice?

Hi Sue and welcome.
When I have plans for eating out, I usually fast until that meal (I did so on this Friday and Saturday). And I’m trying to have more days a week this one-meal-a-day way of eating (around 1.000 calories/meal), and to compensate when I’m hungry with intercalated days with 2 meals a day (2.000 calories) in a 4 hours eating window.
Or if I’m having 2 very large meals, like I had yesterday (over 2.500 calories), today I try to water-fast for 44 hours.
Good luck to find something that works for you!
Hi Sue,
I’m new to the diet too. I’m having trouble keeping the calories down too on my non fast days. In the book it says you don’t have to calorie count on NFDs but on this website you have to keep it down to you TDEE. Mine is 1600 and I’m beginning to realise my normal eating pattern was definitely over that.
Thanks for the advice Adaline, we eat out quiet a bit too and its very difficult to try and work out how many calories you are having.
