Hungry sleepy non fast days

  • I started this diet on Monday (well Tuesday was my first day of fasting) and actually it was better than I thought. Both fasting days I’ve had more energy than I imagined I would (I even managed a Pilates class on one of the days) and haven’t had trouble sleeping which was my biggest worry. However, the day after a fast day I have felt really hungry and more tired than usual. I have then eaten more to compensate so worry this will effect my weight loss and any health benefit of the 5:2. I just wanted to know if this is how others have felt and whether this gets easier?

    We both started on Monday! I think that the body is looking to make up the lost ground. I just did five fast days and I am going to be really careful tomorrow. Don’t want to undo the good work – 10 pounds! Best wishes
