  • Hi all,

This may sound a bit crazy but can someone tell me how you measure your waist, hips, arms, legs etc etc? So i can see how much i’ve lost in inches over time as well as what the scale says i’ve lost in weight.

Any help with this will be much appreciated.

    🙂

With a fabric tape measure, the sort that dressmakers use.

The way I did it was to record waist around the tummy button, bust/chest,under bust, hips, upper arms and thighs all at the fullest part.

If you weigh yourself once a week at the same time/day and take the measurements in the same place then you will be able to see change.

    Is that any help?

    Hi Annette52,

Thats great and yes its a huge help 🙂 I’m going to try it tonight and see if i can put what you said into practice.

    Thank you 🙂

I keep mine all in a little book and record BMI next to them too.

Great to look back on when you have wobble, as some of us(me) do from time to time and see how far you have come.

I found looking in a mirror was essential to choose the fullest part as well.

I am sure that you will be fine. It’s not an exam, but a guide just for you.
