Getting ready for 2016

  • Hi Everyone,

    Need to make a significant change and will start this journey on Monday the 11th January 2016.
    I have bought the following:

    The fast diet book and the fast exercise
    Fast exercise app
    Fit Band (anniversary gift from my hubby)

    So from now and till the 11th January 2016 I will be preparing myself. Reading both books cover to cover, creating menu plans and creating time tables for next year.

    I hope to find a 5:2 buddy so we can keep each other motivated and share pics of our food.

    Look at the different forums, see which one suits you and dive in and join the thread. Lots of advice and support and make friends along the way.

    Lots do the Monday and Thursday as it suits most ways of life but other do different to suit their lifestyle.

    Be positive do as the book says and it works..throw all other diet books away. One more thing measure yourself, bust, waist, hips, top of legs and of course weigh. I weigh in Friday after a fast day and do measurements once a month. You could loose 2 stone in 3 to 4 months.

    Getting my tests done tomorrow but not the expensive test.

    Will be working on my food menu next week ready for my start date:)

    Its only 9.43 in the morning and already struggling but going to push through the day. I know it will be hard to begin with but with time it will get easier, I hope.

    Unfortunately my weight increased over the festive period so need to get rid of the festive weight 🙂

    ChangeNeeded~ I find non fast days more difficult! I plan the night before what will make up my 500 Cals for a FD and the discipline gets me through the day helped along by endless water green tea and the occasional coffee. Those festive pounds will soon disappear!

    Oh my!!!!! yesterday as tough but I did it 🙂 I did feel rough by the end of the evening but this morning I am feeling great 🙂

    oh my, Monday seems so long ago.

    My second fast for the year and it’s going better then Monday, keeping busy definitely helps. Still not great at drinking water grrrrr!!!

    it will take time to master all 🙂

    Hi – I basically did the same and started with my first fast day yesterday. It was not as hard as I imagined and I feel rather calm and relaxed around food today (no bingeing or wild food choices so far). I wish you all the luck in the world and hope we can both make 2016 the year we made the real changes
