Getting fit fo 60!

  • Hello to all the 5:2ers! Am back to 5:2 because it worked for me a few years ago. Was 170 lbs when I started and got down to 150. Dropped the ball and now at 158. Turning 60 this summer and would like to reach my goal weight. Went for a surf last week and was a bit of a struggle pulling on my wetsuit. Back to swimming laps 2x a week and most importantly, mindful eating. Bought candy for Halloween, big mistake. Asked my husband to hide it. Good luck to everyone. Keep at it, 5:2 works!

    Welcome back, Laura. If you keep a firm hold on the ball this time around, you’ll be ‘swimming’ in that wetsuit in no time. Many of us find that Fasting becomes a Way Of Life instead of an eating regimen to abandon once you have lost the weight. When you do get back to your target, try Fasting one day/week.
