First fast day yesterday!

  • Well I did it! I’ve completed my first fast day and actually didn’t find it that bad! Of course there were times when I felt hungry but nothing major and when I did feel hungry I drank a glass of water or did something to take my mind off it.
    I had a cup of green tea for breakfast, a cup of black coffee for lunch (which weirdly really curbed my appetite! ) and a turkey breast stir fry for dinner around 6.30 last night for 421 calories. I must admit I found it a bit tough after dinner as I would usually reach for the sweet stuff, especially when my bf is sitting there munching through a pack of digestives lol, but I was determined and had another black coffee to see me through. Worked perfectly!

    Well done, Anna! I started 5:2 about 3 weeks ago, and I agree: it’s not that difficult once you understand the basics 🙂
