Newby ..a little sexy pouch at the back and all the new classes good girl…looks like swimming stopped until the New Year, children off school making it too busy and baths closing for a week also. We will all be naughty with the choccies in the next weeks…belt in for the New Year. Enjoy while we can!

FD for us today …had a nightmare of a evening..really wanted to attack the Xmas stash for about 3 hours, you know how it is when it’s in your head all the time but I resisted don’t know how… I had a small whiskey before bed…should of been fasting from 6pm! Still continuing to fast today. Hubby going to meet his friend lunch time he will have to go steady I am hoping to duck on this one.

Colouring hair this morning making me look OK for the holidays, a pain in the bum! I am not ready for the all grey look yet.

Hope you had a good day. Very stressful here.

Started at 8am with the roofers … they looked like they would be here for a long time.
I take my 89 yr old Mum shopping on a Thursday with lunch. .. I couldn’t leave Mr Pips as he would be doing his job and barking like mad if I wasn’t here.

Anyway after our walk it all looked chaotic… plastic gutting everywhere. By noon they had finished and cleared away. They were a bit drawn out but did a lovely job. All looks good now with a 10 yr guarantee to the work. So went off shopping … had a naughty high fat lunch then opened a bottle of Merlot while making dinner and then opened sour cream pringles. Very naughty day was had by me. Lol

Was hoping for a FD tomoz but Kristy is working from home and that could be fatal. Well laid plans and all that. lol

Newbs glad you had a lovely day yesterday. Do hope your FD went well today. Xx

Well after a stressful rush about day .. drank a bottle of wine and consumed lots of rubbish treats. So true about not having those things in the house. lol

Having a semi FD …just had breakfast with Kristy so that was a nice treat. Usually leaves at 7am but working from home today. She will take Mr Pips … thank goodness as I feel a bit yucky this morning. Have been very stressed and wound up this week so although I often say it today I am going to completely relax. Hair … nails etc for me today and a good book.

Hopefully that is the end of work on this cottage for awhile. It is over 200 yrs old and pretty study .. an old Coach House . Since I lost my Andrew 3 yrs ago I have had a dry stone wall down in the storms plus this last tiles and guttering . Hopefully 2016 will bring a nice quiet year. Xx

Well friends it is getting hard now I know. Fortunately as I have said before stomach is shrinking. Also noticed that I am more and more thinking things are too sweet for me. When I arrived here although I dont take suger in tea or coffee .. had a very sweet tooth. Same with Chocolate that doesnt seem to call me so much these days.

We are all doing well for ourselves by just keeping on top of it (sortof) lol

Friends decided to pop in, so my fast day has consisted of small piece of home made xmas cake, very tasty full of brandy!, 2 gingerbread xmas trees, and about 10 cheesy nibbles. … not sure of calories but hoping to be under 500?

A real busy day. Drove over to Aylesbury which is a bit out of my comfort zone. Roads were very quiet though so all went well. A lovely meet up with some old friends to exchange presents.

Not an FD today and weigh in tomoz. Somehow dont think I will make that 4lbs. We are already onto Xmas like Syms hubby. lolol Nice meals.. already enjoying the seasons rich fare.

Yay yay … all food shop done and dusted. In Sainsbury … M&S and Aldi just after 9am and it was so quiet. In my area it has been like that right through so far. A damp drizzy old day here too.

Feet ache but relaxed now. Had a good day eating wise. Just must resist a bottle tonight. Lol My sloe gin is calling looking good…. 4 bottles. Seems 5 minutes since I was picking those little beauties. lol

Merry Christmas Audrey have a good one you deserve it. Will think of you having port in the evenings with your Mum.

Have had best start to the day with a 3 lb weight loss! With the previous 2 lb loss and then gaining a pound before 3 lb off this week means 4lb total!! Never thought the scales would budge again! Yeah!

Yesterday’s FD was agony, as I cooked mince pies – just hope I didn’t drool in them!!! Joke! At the moment I am cooking cocktail sausages – why does everything smell so good? Self discipline is so hard to come by sometimes!

I am sure we will all be mindful of those we have lost but we must honour them by making the most of everything.

Not good news for us today 1 lb each on, we both found it difficult sticking to fast days with family and food around, tried to cut some meals out but not good enough. We must remember 5.2 works …if you don’t follow it…it doesn’t.

Over the last 5 weeks when we started and joined you…I have loss 8 lbs and hubby 5 lbs so we are still very pleased and looking forward to the New Year to get back on track. Thanks for all your support its a great help.

We are having the week off now starting again the 4th January, like everybody else.

Just a quick hello and to wish everybody a really good Christmas.

I’ve had a few family issues lately and so I wouldn’t be good company. Went a bit off the rails (food wise) as well although most weeks I have done three fast days, hopefully this keeps the weight gain down, last week only two fasts and this week will only be two. Eating through stress is not good!! 🙁

I hope everybody is well and I am planning to start afresh about the second week of January….all the food should have gone by then!!

We will all be needing to lose any gained weight I am sure.

I hope Santa brings you all nice presents. Xxx 🙂 🙂

Hi fasting buddies, Audrey, Ginette, Jean and Hemmy

Jean, your poor daughter! If only people could realise the importance of loving and caring – squabbles are so destructive. Christmas is a time of reflection and whilst some of it is good, we can also end up ‘waking up those sleeping dogs’ ! By the way, I am with you on the heartburn and reflux thing! As soon as I eat bread and pastry etc I just feel yuk!

So glad all of the Christmas eating is over – managed not to go too mad and the next 4 days will be quiet with lots of walks before visitors arrive for new year celebrations. I love Christmas but I also love it when everything gets back to normal again!! Fasting on Monday and Wednesday for me next week as don’t want to undo my good work!

Hopefully some of the other fasting buddies will join us again to start the new year together – the support of wach other is just so helpful.
