Fasting while Fighting Infection

Hi all

I am on anti-biotics for an infection at the moment and generally trying to improve my health.

Does anyone know if there is a downside/risk in fasting while your body is trying to fight an infection?

I know it is supposed to aid repair but part of me wonders if I need the energy from food to fight the infection.

I wouldn’t fast unless I was well.Your body is already stressed by being ill.
Get well and then fast.
