  • Hello All

I enjoy having a port and brandy or a glass of red wine on my Non-Fast days. I was just wondering, should i have something with less calories, that might help me loose weight? I also enjoy having orange juice & passoa, But i can’t find out how many calories this is. Does anybody know? I would be very grateful if someone could give me some advice.

    Thanks

A glass of red wine (about 125ml) is approx 100 calories, so treating yourself to one won’t hurt weight loss, particularly if you ‘compensate’ for it by, for e.g. having less carbohydrate or doing an extra hour’s walk.

Passoa has about 330 calories per 100 ml or a little over 3 oz. Add the amount of passoa you use to the measure of orange juice and there you are.
