Does this fast-day menu sound okay?

  • Recently started the 5:2 diet and tomorrow will be my third fast day (I do Wednesdays and Sundays). I have planned for tomorrow:

    3 pieces of quorn chicken fillet, a roasted red pepper, a roasted courgette, cajun spice and rocket (this totals 200 calories)

    a can of weight watchers tomato soup (76 cals)

    snack pack of sushi (108 cals)

    sugar free jelly pot (10 cals)

    bag of quavers as a treat (85 cals)

    this totals approx 480 calories and I think it spreads out quite well if I space it throughout the day?

    Do you think it matters that 85 calories are used up on a bag of crisps? Or does it not particularly matter what you eat as long as it is below the 500 restriction. 🙂

    It sounds healthy overall, and I know the quavers are a bit naughty but, you’ve got to go with what you can stick to long term, and so long as your sticking to you’re calorie allowance, and a generally healthy diet, you should be fine,
