  • I am looking to get some blood tests done but struggling to determine which type of test to get? I can get some tests from Nuffield private hospital but want to make sure I am tracking the right measurements so I can determine any progress being made after a period of time. The tests are all here https://privatebloodtests.com/

    Thanks in advance, Dave

Comprehensive plus V looks like the one you should get. Its got all the usual tests. LDL, HDL, trigs, cholesterol, thyroid function, glucose, vitamin B and D, electrolytes, liver function etc. It mentions that they also do C reactive protein (CRP). Its unclear whether this is a standard CRP or a high sensitivity CRP (hsCRP). You need to ask. Its the hsCRP that you want. This is a good marker for cardio vascular risk.

    Thanks for the advice 👍
