Heya , I joined the 5:2 and I’m not sure if im doing it right ?! Well , I was sure , until I saw a few posts on Facebook about people going by TIME.
I have the book , and I’ve read it , really enjoyed it and was very enthusiastic to start.
My fast days are Monday and Thursday.
I am not a 3 meal a day kinda girl anyway so on my fast days I have aprox a 400cal dinner and the rest is put towards hot drink throughout the day, normally just 1 or 2 ! So according to the book this is “good” because my fast day actually lasts longer , I have a meal sunday night about 5pm and then don’t actually eat again until Monday 5pm.These are just rough times , family meals are crazy π
I’ve seen people post though and say that the 5:2 diet is meant to be done between certain times ? I’m also not actually losing a lot of weight , the book said to expect a good loss the first week , think mine must have been about a lb , and I’ve just evened out this week ! I don’t know if this has anything to do with the fact i’ve just left Slimming World after a 5stone loss ! I met my target but then just wanted to shift a little more. Would be very grateful if someone who has been on a while or knows what there doing could have a look and see if i’m doing this right ? I can give some of my details if needed !
