My husband and I are 76/77 and probaly classed as obese. I have ‘dieted’ all my adult life, sometimes successfuly. Now at our age do we have any chance of success with the 5:2 diet. Just read it so feeling quite ready to go………….
I told my mother about this diet as she suffers badly with rheumatoid arthritis and there is some thought that it might help the condition. She is almost 77 and not at all overweight. Mum has been doing it since the end of May and is feeling healthier so I can’t see any reason that would prevent you and your husband doing well with this diet. Good luck.
