  • Hi everyone
I plan to start the 5:2 regime tomorrow and am currently feeling …… excited/nervous/terrified (that I’ll fail). However, I’m buoyed up by the many wonderful messages of support exchanged between forum members and I feel hopeful that this is the start of a different, and happier way of life. You are all doing so well!
I am 5ft, 10 and weigh nearly 16 stone. Is it seriously possible that I could (slowly) lose the 4-5 stone I need to? I owe it to my health but am so scared that I’ll give up at the first hurdle.
Some encouraging comments to find on my first day tomorrow would be amazing!
Yours truly from someone who is now regretting choosing the slightly inappropriate username of ‘Nibbles’. Oh dear….doesn’t bode well!

    Hi Nibs and welcome:

You can lose as much as you want to lose. But it will take time. Just keep on doing it and it works. Here are some tips: https://thefastdiet.co.uk/forums/topic/the-basics-for-newbies-your-questions-answered/

    Good Luck!
