31/12/13 my first fast day for life:)

  • Hi everyone ,
    first I wanta thank everyone for there stories it’s been awesome
    Reading them an getting inspiration i love it!!
    so here’s abit about me
    I got pregnant at age 16 I was a size 8 50kgs,
    After having my daughter my weight was 70kgs which
    Was a lot to what I was use too anyway i got pregnant.
    again at age 20 an gained more weight with the birth
    of my youngest daughter an since then the weight has been
    Sticking to me like cheese on. Pizza!
    I became obsessed with weight gain an well just kept
    on gaining
    At the start of this year I was weighing 94kgs I tried
    All sorts of diets drops, pills,shakes
    an iv got down to 80 kgs.
    I have realised that fad diets don’t work for me as they
    are to restrictive an I have figured out that what I need
    Change is my life style.
    My goal weight is 69 kgs an I’m positve that
    5:2 is what iv been looking for so cheers everybody

    just read your post and realised you too are a newbie on this forum lol, so welcome!!
    you sound very positive and I am sure you will come to love this WOL(way of life)I have been on 5.2 since July and never looked back, the weight does come off, slowly for me but I don’t mind, I never feel restricted in any way or deprived, its just so easy and flexbible, and best of all it works!! and its free lol!!

    Hi Paula, WELCOME!!!! hope your first day is going great! I, too, have tried darned near every diet out there. this is the easiest thing I’ve ever done,it has just become natural for me( although I did have a bit of a chocolate binge the other day. 🙂 ) the good thing is if you have a bad day you haven’t failed, you just fast another day. you can do this!! good luck and keep us posted.
