I just wanted to say hi and share my news. I read about this way of life in the paper and then watched the documentary on iplayer. What I liked most was the fact it has so many health benefits and wasn’t just about losing weight. I have lots of weight to lose but ‘diets’ don’t work for me. I lost weight then get bored and put it back on.
So I fasted on Monday and Thursday and although I’d normally weigh myself on Saturday I decided to weigh myself today as I’m away this weekend and 7lb lost. I’ve a lot of weight to lose so that’s a great start. But I’m hoping this will be a change for life.
I did find my fasting days tough but I’m hoping they’ll get easier. I did notice that on the second day, when I didn’t have breakfast and didn’t eat till the evening was slightly easier. Please tell me it gets easier.
The forums have given me so much info so thank you to everyone who posts. It’s been a great help.
