8 Week Blood Sugar Diet … Any tips please

    I am about to start the 8 week blood sugar diet in the hope of pushing back my type 2 diabetes. I have read the book, brought a spiralizer, found some natural fruit tea that I like and I now feel ready for my new adventure any tips would be gratefully received

    Most folks here on the 5:2 fast diet forum are practicing 5:2 intermittent fasting rather than 8 week blood sugar diet. I have seen a couple of posts by those who completed the 8 week blood sugar diet and have started 5:2 as maintenance. Maybe one of them will chime in.

    Hi Everyone,

    Just a quick one. I started the 8 week sugar diet 22 days ago 😊😊. So far I have lost 18lbs and 4 inches around my waist 😊😊. It’s amazing I too am pre diabetic. I was type 2 but lost 2.5 stone to become pre-diabetic.

    I have 23lbs to loose to get to target weight and I have my diabetic blood test in November. Really can’t wait to see if my diabetes has been reversed.

    The first 5 days were hard as I had sugar withdrawals and a headache from hell. But 22 days on I feel like a teenager, walking on average 40 miles a week with no cravings.

    So, if I can do it and I love food 😊😊 anyone can lol.

    Good luck to anyone who is beginning their 8 week journey.
