@maryleamington try bean and spelt broth from ‘River Cottage Veg Everyday’. Delicious and filling and only about 200cals a serving. -
@DrMichaelMosley @maryleamington Also, mushroom risotto much lower cal than you’d think, especially if you miss out the wine.

@DrMichaelMosley @maryleamington Lentil sprouts r quite tasteless wiithout some oil and vinegar/salt but quite high in protein + mixes well -

@DrMichaelMosley @maryleamington quorn in your own spices and loads of veg as stir fry or curry, hot n sour tofu soup is good too -
@DrMichaelMosley @maryleamington also you can’t go wrong with home made veg soups… Even emergency veg tinned soups are low in cals

@DrMichaelMosley @maryleamington I am strict vegetarian. I eat homemade tomato soup 100cal stir fry veg 200 cal. Or homemade ratatouille -
@DrMichaelMosley @maryleamington I find a banana sandwich (half a banana, 2oz bread) great. Also soup, feta salad (with beetroot etc) -
@DrMichaelMosley @maryleamington quinoa is high protein, we have it with mushrooms in tomato sauce (low cals) -
