Weight plateaux

    I have been stuck at the same weight for 3 1/2 weeks now and cannot seem to make in go down despite doing 4/3 for the last 3 1/2 weeks. I could go on ADF but would prefer to keep track on Monday/Wednesday/Friday fast days and have the weekends free.
    Has anyone else had this problem and how did they manage to kick-start their weightloss without drastic measures i.e. running a marathon to burn calories!!!!
    I’d be really grateful for any positive suggestions.

    Hi Georgie, I started about the same time and I lost 3 lbs in the first days (fasting, non fasting, fasting, non fasting. I have not lost anything since but I have not put it back on either and I am a WW and I have already lost 56 lb and kept 50 of those off for nearly 3 years, so I thought I would give 5 – 2 a go. I have done 5-2 and a back2back the only thing may be I may be over doing my calories on the non fast days, it should only be 1370 per day and I think I may be indulging in the Rum and diet cokes so I have sent the rum down to my garage 175 feet down the garden to make sure I will not go down there to get it. I will let you know if the ( No alcohol works for me). JIP
