  • Hi all,

I’m returning to 5:2 (or possibly 4:3, we shall see!), today, after a loooong break away. In all honesty, I can’t remember why I stopped, it was working just fine =/

Oh well, back to it, and I have to say I’m really happy. I made the decision on Friday and have actually been looking forward to my first fast day which is today. I’m thinking I will return to what I used to do which is mostly eat nothing all day, just have lots of black coffee, herbal teas, still and fizzy water, and save my allowance for the evening when I will have my usual New Covent Garden Soup (wild mushroom, yum!) and some fruit.

Luckily I haven’t done too much damage in the meantime, I just hate counting bloody calories all the time…

I feel like I’ve taken control back hurrah!

Happy fasting (or not!) lovely people 🙂

    Kits

Welcome back! And Happy fasting to you! We all get side tracked for one reason or another. What matters is we get right back to it. Kind of like taking a detour on a trip. You get waylaid for a bit, but eventually, you get where you are going!

Thanks for the reply fitnfast, I was starting to feel a bit lonely 😉

Alone but never lonely! Have you joined any challenges? We just started the June challenge. Keeps a lot of us honest!

Yup I have signed up for the June Challenge, bring it on!

Welcome.. And Happy fasting to you.
    have a nice day.

    Thanks Luis 🙂

I love the feeling of taking back the control, I’m in a very similar position. I’ve seen you on the June challenge 🙂 we can do it!!!!!!! Look forward to reading about your progress 🙂

    Likewise Dragonfly!

I’ve just had a bowl of soup, will have another for dinner tonight and just water and coffee in between. I’m struggling a bit today but I know I will have 4 days of normal eating once I’m done so that’s keeping me going!

    Have a good one 🙂

I am having a bad fast day too! Sometimes they are trying!

I swapped cheese for peanut butter in an effort to curb my peanut butter addiction…now I can’t stop eating cheese! Ugh! Why do I have this uncontrollable urge to snack?? And nothing in my day is stressful, and I am menopausal so it ain’t hormones!

Ok, deep breath, drink my coffee, and regroup!

    Better luck to you guys!

Aw fitnfast I know how you feel! I did sneak 1 chip from my husband’s fish & chips last night but managed to resist more. I have a peanut butter addiction too by the way, especially for Skippy, I can eat it straight from the jar with a spoon haha. If I had to choose between PB and chocolate for the rest of my life it would definitely be PB!

Oh well, fast days done this week, hooray!

    Happy Thursday 🙂
