Third Week in – first day posting…

  • This is totally do-able…but I am terrified that it won’t work! Have been through many weight loss programs – most of which worked, but none of which were sustainable (for a business owner, mother of two, and admitted foodie). I feel like I am starting to drop weight and am hoping that it is not just wishful thinking. I am worried about getting on a scale. I don’t need my motivation crushed. Anyone else out there scale-avoidant?

    Hi, I am just starting week 8 and find it does get easier my portion size has definitely got smaller even on non fast days. I am not logging everything i eat as this doesn’t work for me plus I don’t have the time to check calories of everything but I have stopped snacking and only eat at mealtimes. I do use M&S count on us meals on fast days but only if they’re under 300 cal for evening meals, I skip breakfast and have a 150-200 cal lunch. Non fast days i eat same food as hubby and 3kids just smaller portion. Weight lost so far 1stone and dropped into next stone mark on scales. So will continue in this way as it seems to work for me and I don’t feel like I’m on a diet so hopefully can follow it for a long time as several stone to lose.
