  • Hi! I am a 60 year old retired teacher living in Kansas. I have juice fasted in the past few years and was amazed at how easy it was. Unfortunately, it was not easy to keep the weight off. I am hoping that 5:2 will be a way for me to incorporate fasting in to my daily life. I am hopeful!

    I started 3 weeks ago. I have lost 3lb. I weigh myself everyday and find that on my non fasting days my weight remains the same. On my fast day i only eat blue berries and fluids. I weighed 67kilos and now 64.4kilos.

    I am starting today too. I was a bit hungry an hour ago but have had water, black coffee and herbal tea which has helped to stop my hunger pangs. I am planning to eat hard boiled egg and some green salad in a bit, although I am planning to leave lunch til as late as possible.
