Started well

    I started 3 weeks ago and read everything I could from those who were using 5:2 before I started and have lost 13.5lb.

    I have tried all sorts of diets over the years but for some reason this just seems to fit my lifestyle. The main help was everyone saying it isn’t fast and feast it is fast and non fast days. I have been watching what I have been eating on my non fast days but haven’t counted calories and haven’t gone without treats. I am sure the weight loss will start to slow down but I intend keep with it.

    Wow Jacqueline that’s fabulous! I’ve tried 5:2 a couple of times recently just for a couple of weeks before losing interest and always have good weight losses. I’m just starting my second week and I intend to keep at it properly this time – 4lbs off last week and anothe r9 lbs to my target weight.

    I’m mainly going to use my two fast days as rest days from exercise, but will continue with a light gym session or a good long walk if I’m feeling up to it.
