  • I have plateaued after losing 15 pounds. I’ve been following the 5/2 plan since August. I don’t cheat and I don’t overeat on my non-fast days. I do 2 days of cardio and two days of strength training per week as my schedule allows. I seem to be doing everything right and yet I’m stuck. Haven’t really lost any weight in about six weeks. Any suggestions?

    Try shaking things up a little. You could try time restricted eating on non fast days (eating all your calories in an 8 hour window), one meal a day on fast days (have either a decent breakfast or dinner and the rest of the day just have water, tea, coffee, miso soup, etc)

    Also what sort of things are you eating on non fast days? The fast 800 book recommends a Mediterranean diet high in fruit, veg, meat, nuts, eggs, oils, etc and reducing processed food, sugars and starchy carbs like rice, pasta, potatoes, breads, etc.

    I’ve been on this since January and I’ve lost around 97 pounds.
